I recently purchased this Westinghouse generator for emergency home use if the power temporarily goes out. I thoroughly researched several different manufacturers and arrived at the conclusion this model was the best unit to fit m needs. Plus you have the Westinghouse reputation to back up your investment. The unit arrived in solid packaging with thorough setup instructions. I am confident in the operation of my Westinghouse generator for when it's needed.

I brought this as a multi purpose generator, wanted something for home in case we lose power to save the food in the freezers and/or run appliances. At the same time it will run our travel trailer so great for camping or simply working on the camper in the summer to run the a/c and everything else.

The generator started right up and runs smoothly. It will power up electric chain saws after giving a jump and running hard for 10-30 seconds. It would not power up a 20A Northern Tools electric power washer. The motor on the power washer sounded god-awful the few seconds I tried.

I read through all instructions, added the included oil, and then fuel. It started on the first pull - impressive! But I was even more impressed with the fit and finish, quality components, sturdiness, and attention to detail. As an example, a funnel was provided for adding the oil. It is flexible plastic that threads into the dip stick hole - nice. And even more, there is an O-ring at the threads so no oil can leak out when being added - VERY NICE! This is what I mean by attention to detail. Based on my initial experience, and after comparing this generator to similarly priced units, I would highly recommend.

I just bought this to have for jobsite use and for any winter storms we may have in south Texas and I have to say that the generator is not only a great value but great power and definitely gets the job done. Looking forward to buying a second one to power my house as backup.

Bought this for use getting started building an off the grid property, so far has been a lifesaver. Runs and/or charges all my electric tools with ease, and keeps the heater running at night so I don't freeze. Once my off grid power supply is up this will make an excellent backup. Not bad at all on gas, seeing as how I never put a heavy load on it. It is a bit loud, recommend having it a little ways away and with the muffler facing away from you. I shopped around awhile before buying, and I feel like I got the best deal for the money here

I needed a basic, low cost generator for the RV I'm living in while home is being built.This WGen3600v fit the bill and had excellent reviews. I'd never operated a generator before and this one has been very easy to use. Seems fuel efficient. I love mine.

Having used an open frame generator in the past, I have found that this unit is noticeably quieter and very easy to start. Bought to run power to our travel trailer on the go as well as supply power to our house in cases of emergency. 3600 watts of running power is more than enough for our needs and am extremely happy with my purchase.

Shipping was remarkably quick. Set up was a breeze. Good directions. Learned a few tips by reading the owners manual. I did decide to purchase the Southwire 90218802 12/3 STW, 9-inches Twist To Lock Generator Power Cord Adaptor (L5-20P To 5-15R) so I could use both the 20 amp and 30 amp outputs. Seems like a very well-built product. Happy so far!

We bought this about a month ago for just Incase. Glad we did!! Power went out last night due to storm and our pumps downstairs quit working due to that. Got the generator out and plugged those in plus fridge and tv. We were all set no flooded basement no spoiled food!!
