Changed way I think about electric powered range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range changes perception of electric powered range. The induction range is efficient, easy to clean, safe and not emitting heat to the surrounding while hearing. Awesome products. The connection to the SmartThings is so useful so I can check if the device is left on. The range cannot be turned on for long if there are no pots and pans on it. So safe

Much needed upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love this range, my husband more than me. I love the anti- scratch cooktop, has been very easy to clean. It actually does not scratch, pretty impressed. I mostly love the SmartThings feature especially when it comes to preheating the oven, which my husband usually forgets to do, so this is very helpful. There is a slight noise when the stove top is heating up but It is not very loud, so it's bearable. The oven works amazing! I love to bake and this is such an amazing upgrade as our old range would not heat up evenly. This one bakes and cooks the food evenly which I am very happy about. The only thing I do not like are the smudges on the touch screen part, any slight touch creates smudges. Easy to clean but a bit annoying to have to do every single time. Other than that we really do love this range, our food actually cooks better and faster. So glad we decided to pick the induction option, the research really helped. We had to purchase a new pan set that would work with it but it was no big deal. Super happy with our choice!

Huge upgrade over gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range replaced a dual fuel propane range and we love the switch to induction. I had previously tested a measured amount of water and timed it to reach a boil because I wanted to compare it to this new range. The gas range took 9.5 minutes to boil 3.5 cups of water. The same amount of water took 4.5 minutes on the induction range set at 9 power and 2.25 minutes set at boost. That is insane! The touchpad takes a little getting used to versus traditional knobs, but it is easy to operate. I do wish it were easier to lock the touchpad while in use and while not in use because I've accidentally turned something on when cleaning it. The matte surface of the cooktop is wonderful though the touchpad is prone to fingerprints. A spray of window cleaner fixes that easily though. Speaking of cleaning, it is a breeze to clean this cooktop! Food falls out of the pan? No problem to take care of it versus fishing it from the flames of a gas range or just letting it be until you're done. No more scrubbing when a pot boils over. You can easily pick up the pan and swipe a towel over the water and move on. The heat controls are so responsive that it seems magical. I love, love, love, this induction cooktop. The only time I've noticed the cooktop making noise (I've heard complaints of induction buzzing on other ranges) is if the bottom of the pan is wet and when you first turn a burner on. Otherwise all I hear are the sounds of cooking. The oven seems like a standard oven. We previously had a convection oven and I may miss that a little, but in reality we don't use our big oven often. I do wish it had a grate on the very bottom like my previous range because I had perfected cooking pizza down there. I guess just more excuses to make pizza for dinner while I find the sweet spot in this range! The drawer on the bottom fits my half sheet pans for storage with room to spare! Our fridge is stainless but the stainless options were out of stock so I chose the black stainless. I actually think I prefer this look as so much of the range is black anyway. I highly recommend this range and the transition to induction. You will not regret it.

Easy to clean and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost, I absolutely love how it looks. It's clean and modern looking. The drawer underneath is extremely helpful in giving me space to put some baking sheets. The induction takes some time to get used to (determine what number level equals what heat level). Example: 9 = hottest heat setting. I do feel like the oven sits a little low as I have to bend over more to get items into the oven itself but that's not a deal breaker. Just something I noticed. Everything wipes clean easily. I like the app so you can see what's on (cook top vs oven).

Induction is better than gas or electric for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been curious about induction oven, and finally pulled the trigger. Gas is much cheaper than electricity in my area and our gas oven was working just fine, but we got so tired of cleaning whenever items would fall into the oven grate. This new oven makes that a breeze. It's so nice to be able to swipe down and clean. Electric ones are cheaper than Induction, but you don't get the benefit of quick heat transfer. Since this doesn't have dials, sometimes, it's difficult to know if you left something on. In that case, I've had the SmartThings app send me a notification that it may still be on. I can turn on the light inside and preheat things from the phone too. My parents also have an older Samsung induction and mentioned how they like the new anti-scratch coating on this oven. We did have to get some new cookware to make it work with induction, but we like it a lot so far. Hopefully the top surface will stay clean and not crack (since it's glass). We're happy to see this new appliance in our kitchen, and look forward to using it more!

Worthwhile range upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from an electric stove to induction and it's a game changer for cooking. Boiling water for pasta and eggs is magically fast. You won't believe how fast this range will heat up pans for cooking and especially sauteing! The controls are easy to use once you get used to it and I love the fact that it doesn't heat up my kitchen and it's more child friendly so I won't have to worry about my son burning himself in the future. The app integration is awesome, its makes controlling the oven and watching cook time so convenient. The range looks really clean for my Kitchen and I like the black matte finish as it adds a flair to my other stainless steel appliances.

Great Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t really cook much.. but once I experienced this range, I wanted to keep cooking. First few times it hit me that the induction makes the cooktop turn off if removed. Seems if you want the surface to cool down faster, that’s the way to do it. But what really caught my attention was when I got added to the smart things app and was able to see what’s on and off while I cook. No longer shall I burn food! App shows what level heat is set on cook top (not adjustable remotely). For the oven, this all works the best. Can control the temperature, timer and turn off the oven if needed.

Excellent Inductuon Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung bespoke induction range is by far the best range I have ever owned. The integration with the smart things app is a game changer. I can see everything in the app now and can also control the oven temperature and time. The induction elements also work wonderfully and are far better than a traditional electric heating element. It heats the pans more evenly and is quicker. I regret not having this oven sooner!

Awesome technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first-time user of the Samsung NSI6DG9100MTAA range, I was impressed with its sleek design and user-friendly features. The cooktop heats up quickly and provides even heat distribution, making cooking a breeze. I especially like the flat black cooktop, which not only adds a modern touch to my kitchen but also makes it easy to clean and maintain. The oven's spacious interior is perfect for baking multiple dishes at once, and the convection setting ensures consistent results. I also appreciated the intuitive control panel, which is easy to navigate even for someone not familiar with high-tech appliances. Overall, the Samsung NSI6DG9100MTAA has been a great addition to my kitchen, offering both style and performance.

Buy a simpler range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the induction cooktop itself but controls are difficult to manage and too complicated. The controls are very sensitive and easily changed by accident. There is a timer on oven but oven shuts off when set cooking time is over instead of a loud signal so that you can check your food to see if it needs more time or not. I have to set a timer on my phone.
