It gets nice and crispy when microwaved and is a fast alternative then making a big batch of bacon. I really enjoyed it for breakfast and on a sandwich. I’m used to the Oscar Meyer one, but I think the Smithfield one tastes even better! 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get yourself some bacon that is very simple to cook! All you have to do is microwave the bacon or even air fry the bacon. I put mine between paper towels and stuck it in the microwave and had wonderful, flavorful, fully cooked bacon in seconds. I really like the Smithfield brand because they have quality meats. In the past I have tried their pork loins and they were very high quality. So I know that when I got to try the Smithfield bacon that I was going to be equally impressed. And I was!

Raising a house of boys we can easily consume four packs of bacon in just the weekend alone. That being said I never try their fully cooked bacon because I’ve had bad past experiences with precooked products. So I took a chance and decided to get some to make for the kids during the week for breakfast before school. Works like a charm illuminates all the cooking time in mess and I feel like I’m giving my kids something of substance before they get to school. They’re thick cut bacon and pork loins are always our go to the quality is consistent. The best thing about Smithfield is there a price point.

I use this all the time in my salads I feel like it’s much better using the fake bacon and the fact that it’s very quick to heat up and it taste so delicious. The price isn’t bad either.

If you are a lover of bacon and convenience then having it precooked is a great open. I personally prefer freshly cooked bacon with my breakfast. But precooked is great to add to recipes!

The bacon is cut on the thicker side and has moderate shrinkage. It cooks evenly and flavor is fantastic. Great smoked flavor,crisped nicely and great for any recipe you have. Will definitely purchase this product on my own.

I enjoy being able to warm it up and eat it as opposed to waiting for a long time to cook it. I know I'm sorry it tastes almost as good as the very fattening bacon that I fry up in the pan.

But Smithfield - Fully Cooked Hometown Original Ready to Eat Bacon has proved me wrong. You just slightly heat it a lil and it’s like you just made it at home ! You don’t even have to heat it if you don’t want , we didn’t for the best Bacon cheese burgers ever. I’ve also tried them for blt’s and have added them to potato soup ! Forget going through the hassle of crying this is my new go to.
