I was hoping for more of the actual tempur experience in the rest of the bed but it's just not thick enough to provide that. As a result, I frequently get up in the morning with some minor pain in my shoulder and hip. I'm a side sleeper. The pain dissipates after I've been up for a while, so it's bearable. I might have purchased the next grade up in the mattress, but it was out of my price range, especially due to the fact that I bought the EASE Power Base at the same time.

I've been trying this for over a month. I've been trying to give it a try, but it's just not the right to bed for me. I'm 5"3 and 135 pounds. I'm a strict side sleeper. I noticed I toss and turn a lot, I wake up with my back and sides very sore. At first I was having a lot of trouble with my hips and building up pressure points, but that got better over time. But overall I just think it's too firm for a side sleeper of my weight. I definitely need more softness. I don't recommend this for side sleepers under 150 pounds. Go softer !!!! But I must admit the customer service has been great, and the quality of the foam is superb. It's a great high density , slow response form which is great. But so far it's just not working out for me. I will be returning.

My husband wanted a firm mattress and we've had memory foam mattresses before. The Tempurpedic is VERY firm. Initially, it seems like it's TOO firm, but once you're in it, it feels great. We have only been able to sleep in the bed 7 nights since we bought it - LONG story. However, those 7 nights were wonderful! I must say that the "white glove experience" was no big deal. Two fellows delivered it and they were very pleasant, but I have no idea what the whoopteedoo was. It was delivered and put on the bed. Whoopteedoo.
