As a teen I had adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, the result being a fusion of a eight inch rod in my back. I am now close to 68, over the years l worked 8 to 10 hours a day doing heavy lifting and standing on hard concrete floors. I also carried 2 sets of twins. As I have gotten older, I now have degenerative scoliosis in my lower back with 5 bad disc, I don't let that slow me down. I still mow my 2 acre lawn, do all the yard work including the weed wacking. Most days I am so sore I can hardly walk, as I take nothing for pain, but I sleep like a baby. Best investment I have ever made. I always wanted a Tempur Pedic, but couldn't afford one. I really wish I had bought one years ago. I love the way it conforms to my body. I sleep really well and wake up with little or no pain at all. I am more than really happy and the price was well worth it, and I would gladly payed more, just for the comfort and the best nights sleep that I have had in forty years, no kidding. I love my new mattress. I very highly recommend a Tempur Pedic to everyone.

Let's just say, I finally found the perfect mattress. I looked for a year and tried 4 other mattresses before the proadapt firm. We sleep so comfortably and so sound like a baby. We sleep on back and side and it's fine either way. I will have a tempurpedic for the rest of my life.

Best night's sleep I have had in years. I had my first back surgery in 2013 and second in 2016. I have tried different, expensive mattresses and could not sleep without hurting. I slept in a recliner for a year. The firm mattress that I got wouldn't be for everyone but with my back I needed it. Everything else gave too much and caused my pain all over. The person that I bought it from was amazed that I adjusted to it so quickly. I would not sell my mattress to anyone. It's all mine!

I could not believe that changing my mattress would change my life. Get the base also. It is worth every penny. Sleep comfort is so important. Run and get this mattress. You will not regret it.

For this purchase, I debated between the Adapt and Pro-Adapt. I chose the Pro-Adapt Soft and absolutely love it. It is truly like sleeping on a cloud. We had tried standard box spring mattresses, Sleep Number, and a firm mattress with a pillow top. None were as adaptable and supportive to our contours as this Tempurpedic. We picked up the pillows when we purchased the mattress while waiting for mattress delivery, and they are a definite 10 as well.

I'm sleeping much better on my Tempur-ProAdapt Firm mattress than I had been on my old and considerably softer mattress. Whether I sleep on my side or back I rest comfortably and awaken without the stiffness I experienced with my previous mattress. This is a fairly expensive mattress, but if you can fit it in your budget it's worth every penny. I don't regret for a moment having made this purchase.

Having to make an exchange was definitely needed and by far our choice on this mattress has made our backs and ultimate sleep become more relaxed! No more tossing and definitely no more waking up with aches. Comfort of adjustment on our body is amazing . I wish it wasn't so heavy! Other than that you get for what you pay!
