Ok people, I'm 22 years old. I've slept in three beds in my entire life. Obviously started out in a crib, moved to a twin and slept on that same mattress until about 19. Moved in with my fiance and sleeping in a king mattress until May 11th 2020 when our Split King Pro-Adapt mattresses finally arrived! We both got to the point where we were having a lot of problems in our old mattress. He has sciatic nerve issues occasionally and is always tossing and turning. I am a very light sleeper and was barely sleeping the last 3 weeks before our new mattress was delivered. The nerves in my lower legs also seem to go crazy when I am laying down so any type of movement from my fiance makes it that much more stressful especially when he thinks he has to launch hmself in and out of bed in the middle of the night lol. It was miserable! We decided to get a firm split king because of our different needs though we both wanted a firm mattress and I had read previous reviews where some people no longer felt their partner move around so that really made me want a split king. We decided to pair it with the Ergo adjustable base (Separate review.. life changing) and it took over a month to get everything delivered but finally low and behold we are sleeping better! Love me a firm mattress! Our old one just felt too soft and I couldn't seem to find a position where my body truley felt relaxed. I barely feel him moving around and the nerves in my legs have calmed down so much I would assume due to now I sleep wih the bottom end of the mattress lifted (Thanks Ergo base)! I have been sleeping better though still having some issues on night where I just can't sleep. I am getting ready to buy some new pillows from here that I think will work with the mattress and base and completely fix all of my problems! If you get a firm, once you set it up, it will feel really hard but don't be alarmed! That will change when it warms up to the temp of the room. When we set it up and sat on it, we looked at each other like uhhhhhhh this is like laying on cement and we were hoping we didn't just make a giant mistake lol but nope it was perfect once it warmed up! Only thing that kind of sucks is that I read you shouldn't use heated blankets on the mattress. I have been using a heated blanket the passed 2 years since my feet can't ever get warm. They are always freezing cold at night and would cramp up in the middle of the night so I'm having a lot more cramping now but it's a small price to pay. I think I just need a better comforter. Overall, I love this mattress and am trying to convince my parents they should get one too! Was well worth the money! You spend a big portion of your life in bed. Might as well be comfy! All of my future bed products will now be purchased through Tempur-Pedic!

This is our second Tempur-Pedic mattress, the first being over 11 years old and feeling a bit stiff for us. We also wanted to go from a queen to a king size bed. We tried several mattresses at the store and found this one to be very comfortable. After several weeks of sleeping on it, we both wake up without the old morning stiffness and sleep more soundly through the night.

We had a Tempur-Pedic about 20 years ago. We had to replace it due to some unforeseen medical issues. In the last 3 years we have purchased two other mattresses (bed in a box). We have now gone back to Tempur-Pedic and will NEVER stray again. Very comfortable, truly cannot feel each other flopping in the middle of the night. We love our Tempur-Pedic!!

Due to my husband's back issues, we have changed mattresses over the years like we change shoes. He has slept more hours through the night and is rested in the morning for the first time in years. I have not really cared what mattress we had, but now that we have this bed I'll have a strong opinion! We would recommend going directly to a flagship store to purchase the bed. Yes, this bed is more expensive but it is worth every penny. We have spent far more over the years on mattresses and mattress pads looking for a solution and we had no idea we were just wasting money.

Well let me start on why my husband and i are now experts on mattresses. My husband is a 250lb powerlifter and we have recently in 4 years gone through 2 mattresses. 3 mattresses in 7 years if you want to get technical. On his side of the bed where he initially sits down our past mattresses would indent after only a year or so. Also on mattresses we bought prior and spent thousands my husband always said his lower back would hurt in the morning and it would sag under his weight. Not to mention he would always say he couldnt ever get a mattress that was comfortable for his size. This Tempur-ProAdapt, Medium, Queen is absolutely worth every dollar. This is the 1st time in almost a decade where he actually sleeps soundly through the night. When he plops down on this mattress it doesn't shake my side of the bed causing me to spill my coffee. This mattress is magically good with its "proAdapt" technology, we both could feel the quality on the very 1st night. It's supportive for him and comfy for me and I'm 120lbs. So for us to find a mattress that works for us is simply amazing. We wish we knew about poAdapt mattresses sooner. We couldn't be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We slept on an old, lightly used traditional guest room mattress for over 10 years that was given to us when we got married. This is a completely different and improved experience for us. I sleep on my back with wrist braces on and rarely turn side to side. I was having back pain each morning and would awaken early due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. We decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. When shopping we came across many hybrids but when they told us that tempur-pedic was the brand recommended by doctors for people with back problems I was sold. Why not get the mattress I might need in the years to come anyway- its like wearing orthotics in your your shoes. We went for the hybrid model to have a little more structure to the mattress but got the more expensive version of the model we were looking at to get the few more inches of foam and I think it was worth it. Hopefully it may make our mattress comfortable for longer (that is our hope). I no longer wake up multiple times a night due to back pain or hearing the springs move and make noises when my husband tosses and turns. We both sleep much better. I no longer look forward to taking trips and having to sleep on a different mattress, because now I love mine and I know that nothing will match it when we travel. It's actually a great feeling to know that your best sleep is the sleep you have at home a majority of the time. I do recommend the 5'' bed base, the 9'' was too high and we would have needed a stool to get into bed. I really wanted a 7'' which is my one recommendation to temper-pedic but the 5'' feels natural for us when getting in and out of bed for people our height (5'6"-5'10"). We have had the mattress for 4-5 months now. We would definitely buy it again.

This bed is made beautifully - I love everything about it... EXCEPT it is way too firm for what I thought a medium bed should be. My husband likes a firm mattress, I like them softer, so we thought a medium hybrid would be perfect. He is a big man (over 6'4 about 300 lbs.) and I'm half that. What I love is that I don't feel him move throughout the night, or getting up. I don't roll into the center and into him due to the difference in our weight. What I don't like is that I feel like I'm sleeping on the floor. I have tried this bed for 8 weeks now, and it hasn't gotten better. I wake with a back ache (between my shoulder blades) and I'm so disappointed my body won't adjust. I will be returning it for a softer feeling mattress and hopefully, my husband will adjust because he just loves it the way it is....

This is the best mattress I have ever owned. I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore and I don't have a backache in the morning anymore. Only problem is the height of the frame. I have to have a small step stool next to the bed to get up on it. I wish the frame was a few inches lower.

I woke up with no pain and there for no headache for the first time in a long time. I slept so comfy and did not sleep hot like I did on my other bed either!! The delivery team were professional and quick. And cleaned up after themselves as well!! BEST NIGHT SLEEP IVE GOTTEN IN YEARS!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the product and customer service from ordering at the tempurpedic store, delivery to the unfortunate return were commendable. The proadapt medium hybrid split king did support my hips and back which I have issues with however i found my neck getting more sore (which I also have issues with, the mattress didn't cause but irritated). Purchased the tempurpedic neck pillow in hopes of fixing the issue with no luck. I have spoke to many friends who love the product it just didn't work for me. I was tempted to try another style but was worried it may result in the same neck issue.
