I needed to get out of pain (both sides of my neck, shoulders, upper back) after trying to sleep for 8 months on another manufacturer's mattress. I had been to the chiropractor, too. When I tried the Stearns & Foster at the store, I just knew it was the right one. I had no doubt. Every night for the last week my pain has dissipated more and more because of my Stearns and Foster mattress. I'm just so happy that I can finally sleep all night and not wake up after a few hours with pain. I wish I knew how heavy this mattress was going to be, we have a difficult time tucking in the sheets and blanket. Our old mattress did not sag in the middle, I have to work myself to the side with this one. I also wake up in the middle of the night now since we bought this mattress with pain in my hands, I've tried changing pillows but it doesn't make a difference. Turning the mattress is a real chore. I did not read reviews before buying.

We love this mattress. After changing 3 different mattresses we finally found the one that we can sleep without waking up in pain. We have the soft tight top. I am really surprised this is the definition of soft, but the mattress feels really comfortable yet very stable.
