[Employee of 3m-command] We have to pay to have a wall repainted in my daughter's college apartment because it's been so damaged by the removal of the command strips. She had about 12 small square photos hung up with the Command strips. At least half caused damage upon removal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought these to hang metal artwork. The hangers that are on the art work were hard to use nails with. We used 2 set of the large to attach it to the wall. It worked great. We will switch to these to hang all artwork and pictures in our home.

Used these for my Sports Illustrated special editions that I had framed in heavy black frames. 3 strips each frame and 3 years later still hanging around. Since then, I've used Command strips have been used all over the place, the office, my car ( handy to hang a mirror on the sunvisor), every where. Love these things!

Bought the large hangers for 8 lbs pictures. One weighed 5 lbs, one less than 2 lbs. I watched videos and followed instructions exactly. It took me nearly two hours to execute the instructions exactly. Hung the first one, the larger one, and clicked it in. It fell within 3 minutes. The velcro remained intact on walls and picture. It was three connection between the two that failed. Hung the second picture, the light one, and ensured it clicked properly. I assumed the first one fell because I didn't click it well. It fell within 30 minutes. Again, the strips were secured well to the wall and the picture. It was a lack of adhesion between the velcro strips. I'm beyond angry for having wasted a couple of hours and a lot of money on frames. Don't waste your money or time.

And in my office, I have a lot of collectibles and sentimental things to my family and instead of putting up shelves I’m just gonna try to use these picture hanging strips even on non-picture items.

I actually love all the command products. In this case I needed to hang a spice rack holder that came with our cabinets but did not fit. We decided just to mount it to the wall in the pantry. I am tired of trying to mount stuff on walls with screws, anchors, whatever. So i remembered I had some picture hanging strips and used those. It works great! I use all the command products throughout my house and outside. The small hooks worked great for halloween decorations on the porch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a spot in my house where I like to change out pictures and do not want to have holes left over. These strips are the perfect solution! Now I can change pictures for any season or whim and not have any damage left.

I tried to hang a picture using these strips and it fell about 3 minutes after hanging. I followed the instructions implicitly. The only reason I can see for the fail is that the picture which weighs under 8 lbs. was too big and too heavy. Now I have to replace the glass which broke. It is expensive non glare glass. I will have to repair the wood trim around the floor which was damaged when the picture hit it as it fell. I am extremely disappointed and will not be using these products anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received free product in exchange of my honest review Once you get the hang of these strips they are super fun to use but also can hold a decent size art work. The neat feature is the lock in that doesn’t require any nails or something that would damage the surfaces. You get four pairs of strips that keep a good level if done correctly. You do need to follow the directions and don’t hang anything on them for atleast an hour or more if you can wait. It will just take a firm press and you can feel the click.
