I used these for 4 weeks and when I peeled them off the wall, all the paint (3 coats) plus the undercoat came off! They took it back to bare plaster. I guess it might be the Farrow & Ball paint we used but I doubt it. A case of it does not do what it says on the pack!

When I first purchased this product, I loved it! I followed the instructions to a T - preparing the wall and even added additional strips so they wouldn't fall from the wall. My gallery looked great. After four weeks, I have had seven frame photographs fall off the wall. They were not hung in the bathroom and the temp never reached 105 degrees. Two photographs had to be professionally restored. Now I have to replace all the frames and hang with nails and hooks. Very disappointed.

I use them everywhere in my home from hanging artwork, photo frams, photo boards, cork pin boards, coat hooks, backpack hooks,brooms, thick posters, hanging blowdryers out of the way. When I'm ready to move the location of something, I just pull the tab, it pops off the wall without leaving a mark. I don't have to have hammer, nails, spackle, or any of that stuff you can never put your fingers on or need someone to help with. Within minutes you can mount or reposition something with no worries. I pick up a pack of strips each time I go to the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a large quantity of these because i had heard great responses when i got them and began hanging things after about a day nothing was still on the walls. some of my favorite pictures ruined. Even bought bag hooks was disappointed as well. Read the instructions and nothing was heavier than the strips said they could hold

I used this to hang some pictures but they fell of the walls! Why on earth would you advertise a product to hang picture frames on walls when it doesn’t even do that. Next time I have any pictures to hang on a wall I’m just going to use nails. Thanks for nothing.

I will never buy command strips again, I hung my pictures in our new home using the large ones and the small ones and four of my pictures that I have fell and tore paint off my wall and took my picture down with it, I'll stick to using nails and have a little hole instead of a broken picture and paint missing thank you!

I bought several sets of these hook & loop strips for hanging poster frames in my son's room. They only worked for the smallest and lightest frames. (Less than 22x36 plastic) Eventhough I used mutliple sets (as recommemded) for a frame that weighed no more than 5 lbs it fell off the door after only 4 days and the frame broke. The adhesive side stayed on the door but all except one gave away from the frame. The hooks stayed together but the adhesive pulled off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part these are awesome to use. You have to be careful on textured walls as they may not stick well. I have had a couple of pictures fall but overall most are holding up fine. When I take down a picture usually no mess. A tiny % of time they will pull some paint off but again, overall easy and no mess. I would recommend using them and make sure you use the correct weight and size.

I followed the directions exactly! It wasn't rocket science after all and I always read everything prior to use (it's the military in me.) upon removal, they not only removed my paint, but my drywall as well! I'm very upset, and my husband will be furious when he gets home. This is going cost more than the strips to fix and it's a new house.

I purchased and installed Large Picture Hanging Strip 6 months ago. Used it for a metal wall decoration which is well below the recommended weight for this product. The hanger separated from the wall strip on one side, the wall decoration crashed down and broke! It fell onto my wooden headboard and damaged it!
