Approached with skepticism - pleasantly surprised

We recently moved and having not put up many of our pictures in our last residence, we wanted a simple solution for hanging them and making it feel like home. Both my wife and I initially scoffed that such small strips would securely hold medium to larger sized pictures in the 2-3lbs range and first tested it on a cheap frame that was somewhat heavy. It passed the test with flying colors and we proceeded to mount 10+ of our pictures around our home. We even moved and reapplied a couple of them and they are still standing strong months later. This is an excellent product for easy mounting of all sorts of pictures. It is strong, durable, and removes cleanly!

Only Thing I Use

I use these all of the time, on my whole house! I never have a problem. If something is really heavy then I use traditional anchors which is common sense. These are the best and when in doubt I add an extra one. I wish they came in super large boxes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Command products and have been using them for several years now. Almost everything in my house is hung using the Command products. When we redid our house, my husband was adament about not putting holes in the wall. To satisfy my need for design and his for clean, new walls, we purchased some Command Strips.....they are all we ever use (unless it is a really heavy piece). Unfortunately, we came home last week to our lightweight over the door mirror (you know the cheap ones that cost about $5.00) smashed on the ground. It appears that after several (maybe 5) years of it hanging on the wall, the hooks did not work as well. I am not complaining since we have had it up for several years and it wasn't an expensive piece of art. I would suggest, which I have done often (but not lately) is to push the item on the "hooks" every so often just to make sure they are still secure. Other than that LOVE the product.

Very creative and cutting edge product!

When I saw the commercial for these, I was excited to try them because I have textured walls and have a hard time finding adhesive strips that will stick to them. These do what they say they do. I LOVE that you can hear that "clicking sound" that tells you that it has secured the picture to the wall. I have used it on all of my wall pictures now and really am happy that if I had to move the pictures there would be no nail holes left behind!

Totally Amazing!!!!!!!

I work at a school, with brick walls, I was tired of using things on the walls that at the end of the year I had to scrape off the walls that left spots, and still didnt really work all that well. I'd seen the command items but never really paid much attention to them, until I was in the need of a cork board. I remembered seeing command products on TV, so I went to check them out. I bought the picture strips, and fell in love with them. Was back at the store the next day to by hooks, for our intruder posters, for our windows, and door. Thank you for some of the best useful products for so many different situations.

Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love using Command picture hangers. New pictures would be in my house for months before I had the nerve to put a hole in the wall to hang them. Now my newly remodeled bathroom looks finished with the pictures that I bought but never had the nerve to hang on the new drywall. I'm not afraid anymore to put pictures on the walls with Command picture hangers!

Be very certain! Strip non-reusable!

I started to apply the adhesive strips to the wall and the frame before I realized that I had to reposition two of the strips. I "pulled to remove" and it took quite some effort but they came off eventually. What I'm disappointed about is, once you pull them off, you can't reapply them again. The now stretched strips won't rebound to the original shape. So make absolutely sure of where you want the strips to go (on wall or object to be hanged, because once you pull them off you can't reapply them. Otherwise, pretty good idea and pretty good product. The one other time I used this was for my corkboard and it's been holding up for nearly a year now. I still have a few other command hooks I bought that I've been meaning to put up.

Did not hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture hanging strips did not work for me on all of the pictures I have hung, and some of my frames have been damaged from falling off of the wall, even after following the directions and using the proper strips for the weight of the pictures. I would not recommend this product to others to hang pictures of any significant value.
