Hung all pictures while following instructions to the letter. Came home to shattered memories and broken frames. I am disgusted by the lack of quality control they put into this garbage. I will make it a point to post my experience everywhere I can. I can't believe the amount of money we wasted and how much you have cost me with your horrible products.

I've been using Command Strips it seems like forever -- I use them for hanging artwork on painted walls, and to hang holiday decorations all over the house -- I NEVER have a problem removing things, or marring the walls -- I LOVE that there are so many shapes and sizes available

I followed the instructions and the picture stayed up one day only to find that a picture my father bought me in 1975 was smashed to pieces. I am so gutted it survived 10 house moves and two years packed up when I was travelling abroad. I cannot put a value on how upset I am and want some compensation.

I used them carelessly and didn’t clean the wall and the item fell and removed paint. I cleaned the wall with a household cleaner and the item fell. I clean the wall with rubbing alcohol and allowed it to dry and they have worked better than advertised.

These make the hanging process so much easier. They adhere great and they lock into place very easily. Very satisfied with this product and will be making a future purchase. *received free product for testing.

This review is for the 12lb medium picture hanging strips. Did exactly as per the directions and ended up with 2 big holes in wall that I now have to repair. Directions at step #4 tell you to temporarily remove frame from wall to reinforce strips (letting adhesive set before reattaching pic after an hour). Peel frame as shown. Pic shows pulling upwards from bottom with intent to separate the two velcro pieces adhered to wall and back of frame. Well, the velcro didn't let go and you can't see what's happening until the damage is done. Instead of the velcro breaking free, the paint, and a chunk of dry wall was removed where each strip was attached. Now I need to spackle, sand, and re-paint. Should have just used a trusted molly screw as always. Some of these products work well as intended. This ope was an aweful failure.

I just moved into a new apartment and bought some Command strips to save the newly-painted walls from damage from nails. Everything I tried to hang--which were all under a pound each in weight--failed to stay on the walls with these strips! My shadowbox stayed on the wall for about an hour...??....then it fell onto the floor, along with my small figurines that I had for several years. The figurines shattered into a million pieces, and cannot be replaced! I will never buy any product from Command again in the future--and I feel the company should reimburse people who lost valuable items from the strips not working!

I tried to use the command strips to hang my beauty vanity lights on the sides of my mirror....i bought the ones that support up to 16 lbs...the vanity bars are very light ...the wall is lightly textured matte paint and 6 times the bars fell off....so not this does NOT work on textured walls period !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the smaller ones at home for regular sized photo frames and pictures. I had some rather large (28 x 36) instruction boards that needed to be hung in my shop so I was at first apprehensive as they're not only large but fairly heavy too. These large strips did the job beautifully! We placed one on each corner and an extra one in the center. It will be a year in August and all 7 boards are still perfectly in place. Love Command Strip products.
