No More Nails for Me !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just downsized my home and moved into a great apartment. But I couldn't bear to part with many of my generations of family pictures. When I left my home- all the walls had nail holes. In my new home, everything- and I mean everything is up with Command hooks.Even heavy frames. Command hooks make it easier to attach to the frame, make it level, move it when you get a new picture, and of course take the hook off the wall!. They come in every size you could possibly need. They are wonderful in closets, pantries, bathrooms, etc. I don't ever want to leave my new home. But if I do, I won't ever have to worry about those nail holes.

Waiting to try it

I have seen this commercial on TV and was anxious to try it because where I live I am not allow to hammer any nails on the wall, so my walls looks very bare and it is a big house. So I cant wait to spend a lot on just hanging things I still have a lot of wall decoration and picture to be hanged on the wall since I move in 6 months ago. I can't wait

Tore a chunk of plaster off the wall

Step 5 says to pull the frame off the wall (then wait 1 hour to remount). When I did so the bottom left strip pulled off the wall - taking a chunk of plaster with it. Now I am worried that the three remaining strips won't be strong enough to hold the 7 pound frame on the wall, AND I have a hole in my plaster. The little fasteners sure are strong. Maybe too strong.

picture hanging clips and large loadhangers

I think these are wonderful, no mess when taking down or rearranging. Easy to put up and hangs item exactly where you want. Holds a lot of weight and you can be assured that they will continue to hold. A friend asked how I hung my pictures by myself, with out help. I said "command!".

Hallway Gallery

After 2 years of living in our home, I finally got around to hanging up our family pictures in our hallway. The 14 frames were very intmidating. But I bought several packs of Command Strips and figured out a layout. It took me longer to put the pictures in the frames, than to hang them. It was great!!

wall damage

3 different pictures have all fallen when this product was used, couple of the strips came off on their own, couple had to be taken off after the other side came off on their own, took off paint and outer part of the dry wall, the room was the proper temp and the strips that had to be removed were removed according to product package instructions

Frames fall off...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for a 24 / 36 inch poster frame that is made of medium density fiberboard (read: not heavy AT ALL) and has no plastic / glass cover (read: not heavy AT ALL). Frame crashed to the ground on 3 separate occasions, ruining my baseboard and my poster. Each time was a combination of strips not sticking to the wall / frame and strips not sticking to each other. I weighed the frames to make sure it would be supported by the strips, but obviously that didn't help.

Work Great!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last year and half we have been remodeling our house, including painting all the walls. I didn't want to use regular picture hangers that involved nails. I decided to try Command Strips and have hung over 20 pictures ranging from 5x7 to 16x20. Not only am I not putting holes back in newly painted walls, once the pictures are hung, they don't become crooked by people walking in the house. I 've used a variety of sizes as well as the hook products. Even used the hooks to hold three hot plates over the stove and they are attached to glass brick tiles. So far they are all holding strong. Won't ever go back to the old nail picture hangers. I only wish they were strong enough so I don't have to use screws to install my TV wall support, but I guess I will have to make at least 4 holes in the wall. Great products, highly recommend.

Horrible

Hung all pictures while following instructions to the letter. Came home to shattered memories and broken frames. I am disgusted by the lack of quality control they put into this garbage. I will make it a point to post my experience everywhere I can. I can't believe the amount of money we wasted and how much you have cost me with your horrible products.

Does a GREAT JOB!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved the Command wall hangers. Our room was freshly painted and I used them to hang my new wall hangings. I was able to remove them easily after changing my mind about placement. The wall was unhurt and the product worked great!
