[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is very firm but is just how I like it. It is pretty hard and solid when you first lay down but it is never cold and your body does not have to take time to warm the mattress, I love that. I love that I just slightly melt into the surface of the firmness and off I go to sleep. This is our second firm temperpedic, they are really the best, expensive but they last and the comfort, technology and construction are unsurpassed. Flawless online purchase, competent delivery and set up of mattress set. Satisfied customer for sure.

I purchased a twin pro adapt firm mattress from mattress firm and they claimed it was sold to a customer that returned it within a week. After having the mattress for a short while, I realized there was a very soft area compared to all other areas on the mattress. Mattress firm did not resolve the problem as they have pathetic"customer service". I called tempur pedic and spoke with Glenda who works in the escalation department. She looked at pictures and agreed that there is no way that a mattress I purchased in Sept 2023 had a manufactured date in 2021. Glenda also stated to me that she can see why I had this huge problem because she looked at all the pictures I emailed. Tempur pedic also turned their back on me so I'm stuck with an expensive mattress with an area that doesn't support my back and would never recommend this product to anyone!

I'm always skeptical of 5 star reviews since a radio station where I live is always talking about how many companies post a bunch of them to boost their sales, so I tend to read mostly 1 star reviews to see the negatives. Well, I did that for this mattress and saw so many people complaining about how the mattress is too firm or how they sink into the mattress and they can't even roll over or how the mattress is way too hot. For one, the mattress is definitely not too firm. It's "Medium Hybrid" so if you didn't want a decently firm mattress, maybe you shouldn't have ordered the next-to-most firm mattress. With that in mind, it's still not too firm. It's perfect. I don't wake up with a bunch of back pain like I used to. Secondly, if you are getting "stuck" in this mattress (the medium hybrid), then you are 100%, without a doubt, very overweight. I mean, you have to be if that is happening to you. Third, this is a cooling mattress. Few times have I slept on a cooler mattress in my life (if at all, ever). It feels great and definitely doesn't get super overheated feeling like people always say memory foam does. This is legit the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned, and I bought it without even first laying on it in a store. I've had it for at least a month, and I couldn't be more satisfied unless there is a deal I didn't know about where I pay less for the exact same mattress and it comes with servants who feed me while I lay here. Anyways, thanks so much tempur-pedic for making a mattress that has, for the most part, solved my sleeping woes.

We purchased this mattress after trying it out at the store and reading great reviews on it, my wife is a back and side sleeper and I'm a stomach sleeper and the salesperson highly recommended it. I have always had the standard plush pillow tops and never had an issue but we decided to try one of these out and it was a huge mistake. For stomach sleepers your lower back sinks into the mattress and cause the most uncomfortable sleep and lower back pain when you wake up. For back and side sleepers I'm sure this mattress works wonders but if you're a stomach sleeper I would highly recommend switching your sleeping position or find a compromise on a standard mattress with your significant other, this one is going back and getting exchanged for a standard pillow top again.

I've always had and grown up with spring mattresses so a foam bed was a little hard for me to get used to. Something about bouncing into bed helps me mentally prepare for sleep. The first few weeks I had a hard time getting to sleep because of this. However I did notice once I was asleep I woke up less in the middle of the night. My husband however loved it from night one. He has been a fan of Tempur-Pedic beds so he is more accustomed to it. He falls asleep instantly and deeply. So I would say the type of mattress you are used to plays a part in whether you love it instantly or not.

We are enjoying our mattress. It is firm and offers good support. We're sleeping better on it and our backs are much happier. It does not quite bend the way we expected with the adjustable base, it more raises up at an angle. But we are very happy with the support that it offers.

My wife really likes the TEMPUR-ProAdapt ... she sleeps much better, longer, and feels much more rested. For me, I wake up every hour or so, thankfully I go right back to sleep ... but the mattress feels hard, not comfy ... cannot sleep on my side as my shoulder starts to hurt almost immediately ... have to stay on my back. So, for me, it is ok, not great.

Best night's sleep I have had in years. I had my first back surgery in 2013 and second in 2016. I have tried different, expensive mattresses and could not sleep without hurting. I slept in a recliner for a year. The firm mattress that I got wouldn't be for everyone but with my back I needed it. Everything else gave too much and caused my pain all over. The person that I bought it from was amazed that I adjusted to it so quickly. I would not sell my mattress to anyone. It's all mine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a different mattress for years and figured it was time to upgrade. We did a fair amount of research and settled on the ProAdapt Hybrid. After getting accustomed to the mattress, we can definitely see improvement in our sleep.

Went to TempurPedic and then call. Representative was happy to help, and we asked about the $300. promotional, which we qualified for. The mattress cover came with the 2 pillows under separate cover. The representative assured us the mattress cover was comfortable. She didn't tell us it could not be returned! Since these items were more than the $300.00, we paid the difference. The mattress came and we put on the mattress cover, which slides around, and is not comfortable. Disappointed that I wasn't told it could not returned, resulting in terse email from TempurPedic advising me of this, without any thought that I was misinformed by the sales representative.
