I am 62 and bought the Estate Collection Firm Pillow Top mattress with adjustable frame 127 days ago. My old mattress was soft and caused back and hip pain so I opted for the mattress with the firm topper. I am a back and side sleeper. Although the mattress initially felt comfortable and luxurious it started agitating my back and hips and I feel pain within 10 minutes of getting up in the morning that lasts all day. Unfortunately, I cannot return the mattress (trial period expired) and it was a very expensive purchase for me. I'm considering buying a Tempur-Pedic topper to see if that gives my back and hips some relief. I wish I had purchased a mattress with a medium topper instead. The medium one may have given me that hotel level luxury sleep I was striving for.

I Purchased the Stearns and Foster Estate Mattress in Firm when I bought my Bedroom Set and I love this Mattress as I have back problems and this is the best Mattress as the Sales Person at Raymour and Flanagan allowed me to try the mattress in the store and I had to have it so I bought it. It's fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, I have extra things added to my bedding to make it more comfy, no matter what mattress I had I always had the memory foam toppers, the egg carton-looking topper, or unused blankets just to add more cushion. Not with this mattress. Granted, it took about a month to break it in for it to be comfy, but now it is the best sleep EVER. I sink right into it. The mattress is by no means thin. It is very thick and plush. I highly recommend this brand!!!

It is thick enough that all of the new sheets fit it too. I hadn't had this brand of mattress before this one and I wish I had tried it sooner. Other mattresses I had in the past were always too soft. This mattress being firm is going to help my back pain and I'm already sleeping better. I started off with a Bed Tech copper lux soft mattress. We had a cold winter and my bedroom became cold. The Bed Tech mattress turned hard as a brick. I was miserable. I then tried a medium firmness Tempur-Pedic supreme overlay for the Bed Tech mattress. I I was miserable because it was too firm. I then tried an Adapt Tempur-Pedic overlay for the mattress. That was not comfortable either. I then went with a Saatva overlay for the mattress. That did not work and was not soft enough. Saatva then told me to order a feather overlay for the Saatva overlay mattress. I was sent two and both of them were contaminated with horrible odors that I could not use. I was so uncomfortable that I decided to get rid of everything and start all over again. I went with a full Estate soft pillow top. I love it. At first it was somewhat firmer than I liked but I have had it now for about 40 days and it is getting very soft and comfortable. I am now comfortable and am looking forward to going to bed rather than dreading it. It was expensive and a big financial burden but it is worth a good nights sleep.

It has given me the best nights sleep I have had in years. I have a bad hip and chronic back pain this mattress has eased the pain greatly. It is made well. The mattress also has handles that make it easier to move.

I was having aches and pains every morning when I got up. 2 nights on this mattress is all it took! I now get up in the morning with my feet on the floor running. Good bye achy hips and back! I love the support. It's just what I needed! This is the best purchase I have made in years!

This mattress retains heat like no other mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both wake up frequently tossing and turning trying to find a cool spot on the bed. It is almost tolerable in winter, but I am dreading warmer weather. I would have given it 1 star but my husband does like the support for his back. I can't wait to get a new mattress and we've had this one less than two years. It is already getting dips and lumps too. Also it is very heavy which makes it difficult to tuck the sheets under.
