This mattress is very comfortable. The problem I have is it is supposed to be to be 16”. I bought sheets for this. They did not fit properly. I have since discovered the bed is actually 14”. I feel cheated because it is not what it was suppose to be. I could understand if it was 1/4” off, but not 2”. Which makes me say don't trust Stearns and Foster!

We love our new Sterns &Foster mattress! This is our 2nd one we purchase, our first lasted us many years. We wanted a firmer mattress and we are not disappointed. Very very comfortable and is working well with the adjustable base. We've only had it a week but my only concern is that using the adjustable base with this mattress will bend the coils as so it will no longer lay, flat-time will tell. The store said it would not, I hope not for it was not cheap.

We purchased the Estate medium firm which we tested in the store. This is our third Sterns and Foster mattress but this new design is awful. As soon as it arrived we called the store thinking, despite the label, they had sent us the firm in error as the bed was very hard. We were told it needed time for the top to release. It's now been just over a year, it is still very hard and has developed deep body wells and I now have spinal back pain. We rotate this mattress monthly and even rotate a quarter turn sleeping on it cross-wise. We have had an expert inspect it and the result is the wear is “normal” so there is nothing we can do. We are looking for alternatives and will need to donate a near-brand-new mattress to find comfort. We are so disappointed.

I recently circle back to the Stearns & Foster after having one while married for 20 years (yes I know too long, 15 was probably long enough for the mattress and marriage but here we are😊). Treated myself to a new S&F because I needed it and deserved one which really is ok to say, already adjusting to sleeping more than a couple hours a night. While it's not the freeflow waterbed of the 80s from my younger days it's the next best step to getting a good nights rest. Highly recommend to all my fellow Gen Xers.

I find this mattress significantly more comfortable than my previous memory foam mattress. Doesn’t require a topper it’s perfect just the way it is.

I've tried other top notch brands but none come close to the luxury feel of Stearns. This Stearns has the perfect blend of softness and support.

Simply the best! We decided to replace our mattress after 8 years. The quality is exceptional. With having lower back surgery, this product has made a difference. Thanks again Sterns and Foster for the quality!

Best mattress I've ever owned. We have back issues and this mattress helps us tremendously. Firm and the pillow top adds an extra layer of comfort. High quality construction. Highly recommend.

The first night on a new mattress is always a little odd. I was pleasantly surprised. I fell asleep fast and had significantly less pain upon arising. That's only night one. Can't wait to go back to bed tonight!
