Its what i expected

For the longest time, Sam's Club did not have a speck of any kind of Monterey Jack cheese. Every other kind of international cheese, but no Monterey Jack. Then it would show up in blends of shredded cheese like this one & in tubs of queso dip, but never just a block of Monterey Jack. I'm sure that in some areas of the country (like metro Atlanta area in Georgia, for instance), Monterey Jack would be a very popular item. But, I guess we'll just have to settle for this.

I really like this cheese. It tastes just like the name brands. The fine shred makes it easy to sprinkle on tacos, salads, and anything else. It comes in two packages of 1 lb each, which keeps the cheese fresher for longer, and makes it easy to store. Plus it is a great value for the price.

I've been buying the Kraft Mexican Style cheese for years at Sam's Club. Now that is gone and this is the replacement. I'm not an expert on cheese, but I don't see how anyone could say this is anywhere near the same quality. It doesn't feel as firm in the hands and it cooks down into a hard crust much easier. It even has more calories per ounce. I doubt that I will buy it again. If I wan't Mexican style cheese, I guess I'll just have to get it at a supermarket at a higher price.

Good price and good cheese. I put this mix in potatoes, on pizza, etc. It’s good and it’s a great price. I freeze it, too. When I am ready to take out one new bag, I take it out of the freezer, let it thaw in the refrigerator, and it’s ready to use. Great way to store it and keep it on hand.

This is decent Mexican cheese. My only complaint is there were a couple batches where the starch added to prevent clumping was so heavy it was like a white powder on the cheese. I quit buying it for a while because of this. When I tried it again- seemed to be better.

I buy this cheese often and over the last few years more times than not the bags have moisture in them that causes the cheese to mold quickly and be almost melted/stuck to the inside of the bag. I often have to re-bag it after buying but lose at least 25% of product. Tried to chat online to customer service to get a credit or return and waited for 30 minutes and never received help.

I've purchased the Kraft Mexican cheese for the last 5 months. This cheese replacement is not as good. This cheese isn't as moist, and doesn't have the same flavor. Also the zip lock on this Member's Mark is cheap and isn't as easily closed. The first bag zip lock broke and I had to close the bag with a clothes pin. I will most likely start buying my cheese at the grocery store again. Sad because this was a good deal for the Kraft brand, not a good deal for Member's Mark brand.
