Review of Primacy MXM4 after 6 years and 84,000 miles. Best tires I've ever owned. Tires are on a 2003 Infiniti I35. Excellent in all areas: wet, dry, highway, around town, even treadwear on all four, and always quiet. Now worn to 3/32". If you have a newer sedan, and can still find the size you need, buy them.

I bought these tires on Saturday November 20th and left the next day on a 2200 mile round trip. I was very impressed with the quietness of the tire. The handling was great. However, the mileage on my 2010 Prius decreased by 5 miles per gallon. This is very disappointing. If MPG is not important then I recommend this tire. For the Toyata Prius it is not a good choice.

The tires are fabulous. We got them right before we drove to Florida from Ohio. The ride was super smooth and the tires were quiet. We had a lot of rain in Florida and they handled the wet roads really well also! Overall, so far,we have been very pleased with these tires. They also improved my gas mileage a little bit. I would highly recommend these tires to other people.

I drive 70 miles a day for work alone, mostly highway and I must say these tires are far better than the bridgestones that came with my vehicle. No road noise, smooth ride, great grip on dry or wet pavement, and cut right through snow. This is the first time using Michelin tires and they have gained a loyal customer from now on in.

This represents the third set of Michelins for my 2007 Volvo XC90. The original tires were Michelin Pilots, which were replaced at 47688 miles with Michelin Latitude Tour HP. The Latitude Tour HP, which were just replaced at 95148 miles ( 47460 since installed) with Michelin Primacy MXM4. I had the Primacy MXM4 on my other Volvo and this is what made my decision to put them on my XC90. As far as I am concerned Michelin makes the best tires available. I have had excellent tread wear on all of these tires and they are all "V" rated. Although I cannot rate the new Primacy MXM4 just installed, I can only anticipate the same outstanding results based on the two prior Michelin tires I have experienced on my vehicle. These tires are installed on a 2011 Lexus LS460L, and have about 5000 miles on them, including a trip from FL to MN recently. They are very quiet, comfortable, and handle well, even in the rain (we have plenty of rain during the FL summer. After 5000 miles there is no indication of tire wear. Fuel economy went up as well. Summary: I did a lot of research and believe this is one of the very best tires on the market for its recommended uses.

The Primacy MXM4's were OEM on my brothers 2016 Cadillac ATS. After riding in his car I immediately noticed a huge difference between the Pilot MXM4's that were OEM on his 2014 ATS and OEM on my VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition. The Pilots felt rock hard and were quite noisy! I put the Primacy's on my VW and their incredibly quiet, cozy and responsive!!!

Primacy MXM4’s were factory installed and gave very good service. Very smooth and quiet, not a hint of balance or out-of-round issues (I’ve seen that). But coming from a 2WD minivan with good winter tires to a AWD SUV with new All Season tires in a major snow belt area was scarily disappointing, but nothing a new set of good winter tires couldn’t fix. Winter tires with 2WD is better than AS tires with AWD on snow covered roads with any accumulation, but winter tires & AWD for the win in really bad conditions. Changing tires every winter makes it more trouble than it’s worth to keep track of mileage on each set, but after 260K kms, I’ve used up the original set, a set of Premier LTX’S and about 66% of the winter tires. Not bad at all. Both sets have been very good. Both were very good on wet roads, with the LTX’s staying excellent right until they were down to the wear bars. And the MXM4’s become quite noisy and more slippery close to end of life, but nowhere near as bad as some others I’ve experienced. All in all, the 2 best sets of tires I’ve had. Getting a new set of MXM4’s tomorrow.

These tires are so far superior to most oem tires that manufacturers stick on cars it is not even funny. They are great in the rain, I mean great. They are quiet and have very good dry grip. They are even more than passable in the snow. the only knock I can give them (and it may be partly my driving styles fault) is they do not last nearly as long as you might believe from the rating. After 30,000 they are pretty much shot and I am hesitant to use them through another winter due to lack of tread. Overall though these are excellent for all but the most hard core cars and drivers.

Although I drive a Civic Si, my driving habits are conservative. These tires corner well, have excellent braking characteristics in wet and dry, are quiet and well-behaved on the interstate, and look great. I've only had these tires on the vehicle for a couple of months, so I cannot comment on their capability in a New Hampshire winter. During the worst of the winter, however, I switch to dedicated snow tires, anyway. I can't think of anything I've disliked about these tires, other than one seems to be losing pressure at the rate of about 2 psi a week. I'll keep a close eye on it although a detailed examination of the tire off the vehicle revealed no obvious leaks or punctures.
