I have a hip roof with one joint run-off. This barrel was sturdy enough to take the force of the run-off but retained standing water in the set for ornamental plant growth. To avoid mosquito farming, I drilled four 1/4" holes in the outer edge rim of this area. Problem solved. I now have readily available water for the plants already there.

This is exactly as advertised. Great size and light weight when empty for easy installation. To create more head pressure for watering, I recommend installing on a few stacked patio blocks or something strong enough to support the weight of 65 gallons of water (~543 pounds) to elevate the spigot.

Rain barrel has attractive appearance with large capacity. The back of the barrel is flat for placement against a wall. It came with 2 brass faucets and gaskets for both but 1 predrilled faucet hole. There was a leak on the backside where I assume the plastic was injected into the barrel mold> I repaired it with flexseal. I positioned the rain barrel in my driveway against the house on a brick platform so I can fill buckets & watering cans.

I bought 2 of these last year to try out and they are great. These are not as heavy duty and the area where the faucets go leak. Since they are outside, the leaking is tolerable but not preferable.

The rain barrel looks nice and I do like the screen to prevent it becoming a mosquito farm. I did not expect the spigot to flow like a household spigot but it is just above a trickle. It takes forever to fill up a watering can.

The rain barrel is nice looking. I do not know if this was a defect with just ours, but does not have an overflow hole! It was a shock and a mess after the first hard rain. It only has one spigot.

Purchased this barrel to replace our old one which sprung a leak. Holds a good amount of rainwater for our plants

Works great, room for plant on top. We Elevate ours for ease of use since the faucet is fairly low. This is our third purchase. We’ve had two for about 15 yrs. Still works great.

Would have been great except for the problem of not holding water.. Leak was from faulty weld for spicket.. With 30+ mile trip to store, not happy, Very Happy with refund.. Great people..

Good quality barrel. I have one purchased previously that has two spigots, one up higher. That made a better barrel, in my opinion, as you had two options for getting water.
