I purchased a set of Dawn Powerwash Spray and 3 refills because of the raves everyone was giving it all over social media, which in hindsight was probably the first red flag(never believe everything you hear on the Internet)! Also, I have used Dawn dish soap for at least 25 years, possibly longer and absolutely will never buy anything else because IT is a wonderful product that works better than expected! Sadly, Dawn Powerwash has given me multiple problems. The MOST aggravating one is the degree of difficulty in using the pump! The pump barely made it through 1/3 of the first bottle as well as being almost impossible to spray! The white part of the trigger is so soft, it merely bends inward and applies no force toward the neck of the bottle. I have tried numerous ways of holding it as I apply pressure, to very little resulting spray. I was a bench hand and a cake decorator for 40 years, so I am not a weak person, people remark on my nice, firm handshake. So I’ve been just using it on a sponge to lather up things and let them soak. I have tried it on skillets, my gas stove top, cookie sheets and even my bathtub floor that developed a stubborn watermark. Dawn Powerwash barely removed any of the greasy areas, unlike the dish soap which makes things sparkling clean-even chicken stock grease! The Powerwash gets everywhere(especially if I can coax any spray out of the pump) and just seems to linger no matter how many times I wipe and rinse. The scent of the Powerwash is vastly unpleasant and hangs around forever, unlike its cleaning power which is mostly absent. I tried respraying and soaking items again, almost in tears by now(angry tears!) because the spray pump is such a beast to use. And the results of the repetition? Non existent, even after 3 tries. I am not sensitive to strong smells or scents either, but this stuff...ick. Guess I’ll go back to Bar Keeper’s Friend, it works the first time I use it. And yes, I’m using the same Scotchbright scrubbie sponge and/or the flat green scrubbies with both products. So I’m definitely putting in the elbow grease. I might as well be using water. And water smells better too. I DO NOT recommend Dawn Powerwash at all. The dish soap however is fantastic-why is Powerwash so terrible?! I first bought 10 months ago just to test it out and prove to myself it was just another gimmick. Unfortunately I can't. This is amazing and I don't understand why its just soap right? I now look forward to cleaning grease off the stove, BTW takes less than 5 min on a bacon burger grease covered stove that has sat over night. Even my teenage son who thinks everything should be cleaned by his hired help... that's me, had started cleaning his room literally from top to bottom with only Dawn as his assistant. Now we use it throughout the house. This stuff is great, easy to open, tough on grime, I'm sold.

Like we all know dishes are a part of life and even if you have a dish washer like I do. Sometimes a little soaking is required but Dawn dish spray cuts that time in half. Now that the holidays season is coming up keep a bottle of this by your sink you’ll thank me later.

I love this product! It is amazing at cutting through grease in a pan. Just spray and let it sit for 5 minutes and most or all of the grease will be broken down and easy to remove. Also a great help when you just want to wash an item or two quickly without filing the sink. The fresh scent is nice and not overwhelming. The refills are nice and convenient to use. Changing the sprayer top between bottles is super easy. I would recommend that everyone give this a try!

I love the way that this sprays and is foamy and you don’t have to worry about squirting too much out. It’s the perfect contraption. As usual this product doesn’t stand up to its advertising. I’ve tried it twice now, once on a greasy baking dish and for a second try on my air fryer. In both instances the results were unsatisfactory,it helped but I still had to scrub the items vigorously to get them clean .

I love Dawn power wash! I heard about it on a few different cleaning groups that I am in and they convinced me to try it and I am so glad I did! I love that you can use it on so much more than just your dishes but it helps clean your dishes fast, gets grease and grime off every day things. would definitely recommend!

I bought this two weeks ago after two great recommendations. I was skeptical because I’m pretty basic with cleaners. I’ve used it for way more than pots, pans and dishes. This stuff is cleaning magic. I washed window fans, pretreated carpet, and washed shower walls. It’s wildly effective. I wish I’d taken before and after pics. Incredible.

I love Dawn and their products. I was so excited about the Powerwash because I live in a small kitchette and wanted to find something to clean my dishes and cups quickly. What a surprise. Powerwash was not what they promoted. Left grease in tupperware. I had to wash dishes many times. I bought 3 bottles. When they are used up I am going back to my liquid DAWN.
