We're very sorry you had that experience. When this happens after changing to a refill, you may need to prime the pump to remove any air trapped in it. Pull the trigger 3 to 5 times to get it to spray or "force prime" it by squeezing the trigger and squeezing the body of the bottle. it could also be that the dip tube is facing in the wrong direction. The correct direction for the dip tube is in the same direction of the sprayer and the bottom of it should be in the http://spr.ly/6421GIkJB change the direction of the dip tube, disconnect the sprayer from the bottle and reconnect it. When reconnecting, make sure the sprayer and dip tube face the same direction and that the bottom of the dip tube is in the corner of the bottle.
