I also had a terrible time getting the darn cap off the refill but on the back side of the white cap there was an arrow pointing downward. Wasn’t super helpful until I took a fork under the arrow and lifted up and that sucker popped right off. I can’t believe how many replies from the dawn team that seemed to miss the point of the bad reviews. They kept referring to the spray bottle and not the refill?? Anyway the fork trick worked for me so maybe give it a try because this is a great product!!

I first bought 10 months ago just to test it out and prove to myself it was just another gimmick. Unfortunately I can't. This is amazing and I don't understand why its just soap right? I now look forward to cleaning grease off the stove, BTW takes less than 5 min on a bacon burger grease covered stove that has sat over night. Even my teenage son who thinks everything should be cleaned by his hired help... that's me, had started cleaning his room literally from top to bottom with only Dawn as his assistant. Now we use it throughout the house. This stuff is great, easy to open, tough on grime, I'm sold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really easy to spray soap. I love that it is still free and clear, which feels safer with young children. The spray goes on foamy which coats the grime easily. It cleans off grease and grime and leaves dishes clean.

This is a game changer! Now, we have no problem asking our daughter to do the dishes. No longer do we worry about discovering a greasy mess everywhere. This spray is simply incredible. We have always been a Dawn household and are grateful for this new addition to ease the process of cleaning dishes, pots, and pans!

I fell for the TV ads. I purchased Dawn Power Wash because I had some pots that had some stains. On TV the Power Wash took the stains immediately. Not true, it took some out but not all and I used it 3 times, stains still there. It was a total waste of money. Now I understand all the One Star reviews.

Bring back the old fresh scent. This new "fresh clean" is horrible! The smell goes straight up your nose and will give you a headache. I can't even use it. Threw them right in the trash. Which is a real bummer used to love this stuff always had many on hand!

My first purchase of Dawn Powerwash didn’t start out very well. The easy snap cap/sprayer came open in the bag on the way home from the store, so I ended up with 1/4 bottle of the stuff. After cleaning up the mess in my car, the drops from the car to the kitchen and countertop and floor, needless to say, I was not impressed. However, I made chicken parm and marinara sauce in two separate pans and they cleaned up very easily as advertised. Dawn a power wash was redeemed!

This product cuts through grease like nothing I've ever seen. Unfortunately, it cuts through nasal passages just as well. The fragrance immediately choked me up and I had a terrible headache for an entire day. I'll give the free and clear a try, but apparently that still has fragrance. Do the people testing these products even have noses? Are they desensitized from being around it all day every day or are they perhaps wearing hazmat suits? Because that's kind of what you need when you clean with this. All that being said, my stove has never been cleaner. I'm just scared to use it.

I am a person who struggles with depression and other health issues, and cleaning is quite hard for me at times, and sometimes I don't clean for weeks, I have arthritis in my hands which makes it hard to do dishes, but this stuff is amazing even with stuck on food, it is a must buy.

This has become my new favorite soap for washing dishes. While you are cooking if you are done with one pan you put it in the sink spray it down all of the baked on stuff rinses right off in a few minutes with no extra scrubbing. I would definitely recommend for anyone with a busy schedule or just doesn't want to waist a lot of time in the kitchen cleaning up.
