Thanks for trying Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray, Paula! We're happy to help you learn how to use it. Fist, scrape excess food from dirty dishes. Then, spray the Powerwash on your dishes, wipe, and rinse. For lightly soiled dishes, just spray & rinse, no wiping is needed. For heavily soiled dishes, let the spray foam suds sit for 3-4 minutes, then wipe & rinse.
