This does not taste like a traditional salsa. It is bitter. Why do they feel the need to dump Chipotle pepper powder (i.e. chili powder) into it as an ingredient? It is the defining taste of this concoction. You can't taste tomato, onion, cilantro, or green chile. Just the overpowering flavor of Chipotle. You will not find this in any Mexican Cantina-style salsa. I literally spent $6 on this mess and threw it away. Yuck!

Excellent taste with just the right amount os spice with a little kick. Goes great on chips, in casidilas, on top of burritos. Added it to chili with great results

I’m a Mexican that loves her salsa. I didn’t have time to make any so I picked this up and it was so delicious. Smoky flavor with a very fresh taste. I highly recommend. I put it on absolutely everything. Very good value for the amount you get.

This is pretty good salsa. It kind of reminds me of Chili's salsa, which i love, only this is spicier. Not too too spicy. My 10 year old eats it, and he's not that accustomed to spicy foods.

This is not the same as the MM brand that came out in a different container. The taste is mediocre and its pureed, so just a weird texture for salsa. We thought it was going to taste like the one that was in a clear cylinder packaging. Disappointed.

This salsa doesn't really have much flavor. It doesn't taste inherently bad? So I'm not giving it one star, but it also doesn't really taste good. It just is kind of a tomatoey slurry. You can almost taste that there's green chiles in it, but it doesn't have any spice / kick to it, and you can't taste anything except for the tomato and the hint of chile. In fact, as much as I love salsa, it's often an issue for me to consume salsa because of the onions/garlic taste and my acid reflux since I had my gallbladder removed resulting in that onion / garlic taste burning my throat after eating salsa, not a problem with this salsa. Mostly because you can't taste any onion or garlic or really anything in it. If you like the Tostitos brand non-refrigerated jars of salsa that are basically just tomato paste? You'll like this and it will seem very elevated to you. If you like quality salsas with flavor then this isn't the one.
