I had an older Tempurpedic but sold it when I moved from the Caribbean. It was perfect. I thought the Adapt medium would be right, but it's not. It's just a bit firm and I'm waking several times during the night and in the morning with a backache. Thanks to the 90 night trial, I will be exchanging it for an Adapt medium hybrid. It was more comfortable in the store but was not available when I bought the mattress. I'm hoping this will the one.

We are less than 30 days in and I am waking up with lower back, hip and leg pain worse than my old mattress. I know its the mattress because right before we got this mattress we were on vacation and I had zero pain and slept great on Hilton's mattress. Unless it gets much better, we will probably return it and try to find one that works. It's way too expensive to keep if it's not a game changer in a positive manner.

I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future! But once I adjusted to this mattress, it has been smooth sailing ever since. No more tossing and turning, no more waking up in the middle of the night! I wake up rested and refreshed, and no aching back. The mattress conforms to my body and supports every inch. After five long years of sleeping on a miserable Serta Willowbrook that broke down just after the grace period expired, I'm finally getting the good nights sleep I needed. We first bought the soft Tempur-Pedic and it was comfortable but a bit too soft for my husband as he had trouble getting out of bed. We brought it back and got the Tempur Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We on were on it for quite awhile in the store and thought it was comfortable however after the first night I woke up with my lower back and shoulder hurting. It was worst the second night. My husband thought the mattress was fine. I regret getting it and wish we were able to return it. We have lost a great deal of money on this mattress.

My old traditional bed (coil spring) was very soft....this bed is much firmer and I was worried at first, but it's excellent. I would highly recommend this bed.

I've suffered with osteoarthritis in my back for 10 years. Therapy, medication and exercise did little to alleviate the pain. Then I discovered Tempurpedic mattress. I highly recommend this mattress for those who suffer from lower back pain. Its well worth the price to be able to rise each morning pain-free. This mattress plus daily exercise prevents me from requiring back surgery.

I repeatedly woke up with an aching lumbar region. I felt like there was no depression except at the more weighted areas...hips, shoulders, etc. if I layed on my back to read or just look at my phone,I felt like my chest was being stretched upward... like an upside down "U." Similar in other positions. Had to return.

I have to say, this is the strangest mattress I've ever slept on. It feels like a concrete slab at first touch, but somehow the concrete turns to butter the second you lay on it. The foam forms to every part of me that touches it, from my shoulders, to my hips, to my ankles, and warms quickly, creating a sensation unlike any other I've ever experienced. I used to wake up sore almost every morning on my old mattress (which was a foam hybrid, too, but not the right foam hybrid), but that's not something I've experienced with my new Tempur-Pedic. I keep thinking I should, but I don't. This mattress is expensive, but after sleeping on it a bit, I can see why, and I'm glad I spent the money. Without trying to sound hyperbolic, I can honestly say I've rarely been as comfortable on a mattress as I've been on this one, and once I get used to it and stop waking up to freak out about how awesome it is, I think I'll probably start sleeping a lot better, too.

This product is not the product for me. I toss and turn and do not get a good nights sleep. I bought it throughfurniture store and their policy is absolutely no returns on mattresses. I wish I knew because I would have bought through tempurpedic instead. At least then I could have returned after 30 days. Now I'm stuck with the mattres.
