[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really apprehensive given the amount of "memory foam" alternatives out there but I have never been happier with a purchase. My hip and lower back pain have completely melted away. I'll never NOT have one of these mattresses.

It's firm on the edges, but medium soft in the center. You actually sink more in the center than on the sides. The thing about this mattress that I really don't like is that it's hot! I wake up in the middle of the night throwing sheets off. Then I move to the edge and it's cooler. Had I known this, I wouldn't have purchased it.

I was hesitant about the price, but after pulling the trigger, I could tell just after the first night for years, it would take me at least 45 minutes in the morning to get moving. Now I get out of bed and I feel 20 years younger and move right away. I should've bought this bed 10 years ago. Go for it you will not regret it

Since getting the Tempur-Adapt Medium Hybrid, my lower back pain and neck pain have improved. We paired the mattress with an Ergo-Smart base and love the ability to adjust the head and feet of the mattress. I am a side and back sleeper and the mattress conforms well to either sleeping position.

The adjustable frame is awesome, and at first I thought I'd never use the silly vibration part but now I'm singing a different toon, after a long day, it just rocks you to sleep! Everyone who comes to visit gets dragged into our room to give the new bed a try, I think we've already created some new customers! The only cons I have are the base is very very heavy if you have to move it, and the mattress topper is very slippery and I have a hard time getting the mattress cover to fit and stay, I realize it has one "built in" so to speak but with dogs , grandchildren and life in general I feel more confidant with one I can get on and off easily!

I've owned my Adapt for a little less than 3 years. It is currently sitting on a support system rated to hold up under 500 pounds on each side. The mattress has gone nearly flat under weight in the mid section creating a lot of back pain for both my wife and I. We put in for a warranty claim and were turned down because we didn't have their base under it. The mattress was great while it lasted (a year before I started having issues and 2 and a half years for my wife), however, for the increased price of the mattress plus the support system required for it to not fall apart is too high in comparison to cheaper mattresses that are just as comfortable and last longer without the additional cost of a high tech support system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used memory foam mattresses for years in my whole family. This mattress blows all of those other ones out of the water. At first we were a little skeptical about the firmness. Upon laying on the bed at first it feels like it is going to be a hard mattress, but as you lay on it you can feel your body kind of sinking into it. The mattress really does conform to your body. I used to toss and turn all night long trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. With this mattress I roll onto my side and I move maybe once during the night to readjust myself, because I no longer feel the aches from being in the same position while sleeping. I love that this mattress does not cause any aches and pains while sleeping in one spot for hours. I can even fall asleep better with this mattress. I have a hard time with falling asleep at night, but I get so comfortable and relaxed in this mattress that that hasn't been an issue. I used to have to take Melatonin just to be able to fall asleep. With this new mattress that has not been an issue for me. The one downside I think of this mattress has is the thickness. I personally prefer a thicker mattress, and a higher bed. That is a small issue in the grand scheme of things and I would choose a comfortable mattress over the depth of a mattress for visual reasons. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who wakes up with everyday aches and pains, because they WILL be gone. You will wake up refreshed and well rested! I bought a Tempur-Pedic adapt medium. Was told this was a great entry-level mattress. I have chronic insomnia and I hope this would help. It did not .I feel like I'm sleeping on a slab. Now I'm going to have to upgrade in order to get a softer mattress which is not what I intended to have to do

Replaced our mattress with the Tempur-Adapt Medium Hybrid. Our old mattress was a high end foam mattress and 17 years old but technology has changed a lot. Our sleep quality has drastically improved. We chose a hybrid for maximum support it provides for our lower back and hips. We are back/side sleepers and this mattress supports those positions best. I honestly can say we no longer wake up with lower back pain. We use to have to take naps but after we bought this mattress we rarely need them! We have an adjustable base and the mattress does not bunch up in the middle when raised. We also purchased a Tempur Cloud and a Tempur Essential Support Pillow. My husband loves the cloud because it is a bit softer and he is more of a back sleeper but I love the Essential because I mostly sleep on my side and it supports my neck perfectly.

My wife and I both love the spring support coupled with the pressure relief and movement dampening properties of the Tempur material. We have both gotten a higher quality of sleep since we've had this mattress. It's so wonderful to not feel every little movement and wake up without lower back pain.
