We loved the first one which went with my wife when she entered a senior living facility due to her dementia. I wanted her to be as comfortable as she was when she was living at home. I missed it so much I bought one for myself also. No more back aches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and and I always discussed why we spend so much money on a car, but are only in a for a short time each day. We should invest in a comfortable mattress that we spend an average of 8 hours a day on and getting a good night sleep can effect the rest of your day. This was the best investment ever. My wife and I sleep so well. Recently, my wife was having some complications sleeping at night. She would get up multiple times a night and toss and turn, but I never felt any of it as the energy never transferred to my side of the bed. We also got the adjustable bed frame. The adjustable bed frame has been so handy when one of us is sick. The wife says "This is the most comfortable mattress she has ever slept on in her life." My wife has always had bad hips and since we got this mattress, they have not bothered her at all.

I had a Sterns and Foster plush mattress which is a very good mattress. Have some health issues started to have spasms in legs at night. Diagnosis Fibostist, switched mattress to Tempur adapt. Corrected spinal alignment which relieved pressure on nerve. Leg spasms and night cramps ceased. This mattress is very helpful for me to have a good night sleep

I've had my mattress for two years, and it's already noticeably worn in and has gotten too soft to properly support me in the correct alignment. The warranty will not cover this, as there is no visible indent and they claim this type of change doesn't affect the pressure-relieving properties. All I can say is, it does if you're heavy! Would not recommend tempur-pedic if you are heavier, at this point. It's a shame because they used to be very high quality.

We are really enjoying the adjustable bed. The mattress is way firmer than in the store but I've been told it will improve as the foam has some expansion to do. Love the fact you don't feel other person when they move or get out of bed. I am concerned that it was recommended by business as the best for back pain but laying on my side I'm having hip pain. Been assured that won't happen after few months.

Our mattress started out great but after a couple of years my wife started complaining about back pain. We are discovering that she is sinking towards me now while sleeping. The mattress loses its support over time and Tempur Pedic knows it! They have explicit statements in their 10 year warranty (which we were unaware of) that don't cover changes in firmness/support and they will only honor the warranty if your mattress is sagging more than 3/4"!!! That is ridiculous and just shows that they know their mattress won't last! Ours is sagging ~1/2" at the moment but the firmness / support is what matters more and they don't care about that! So just passing on our experience so that you also don't assume that Tempur Pedic is a reputable brand and decide to spend over $2K on a mattress that you will have to discard in a couple of years. Most of the positive comments here are only within the first year but if you look through the bad ratings you'll find some people that cared enough to come back and try to warn you. Read the warranty before you buy and see for yourself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had Tempur-Pedic mattresses for close to 20 years. ANY time I sleep on another, it doesn't compare. Bought our 5th Tempur-Pedic for mom's spare bedroom. Wouldn't think to buy any other type of mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I slept well on my old foam mattress.... boy, was I wrong. My wife and I purchased this mattress after finding Tempurpedic mattresses to be far more comfortable and firm to the initial press. My wife tosses and turns at night as a light sleeper, so a mattress with extreme initial give in most foam mattresses cause her to have dizziness issues. Tempurpedic mattresses prove to hold their shape until body heat slowly causes the foam to mold around - it's amazing. As for me, I sleep like a rock. Now, I sleep like a boulder. Thank you. No complaints other than they are quite expensive.

At first the mattress was very hard. After a few short weeks. I now get the best sleep I have ever gotten in my entire life. I have purchased mattresses more expensive than this but have never been more satisfied in my life than the sleep I have gotten on the tempurpedic Adapt medium mattress. I purchased an adjustable frame. I hit the up button and raise the head about 2 in. there is no pressure points on you when you sleep on this mattress it is absolutely unbelievable. The best I've ever bought.

I've never paid close to this much for a mattress before, but upon reflecting that we spend a third of our life sleeping I decided to splurge (I bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid). The very first night I slept on it I thought it was a bit too firm for me, but now after a month it feels perfect. This mattress just feels so luxurious and comfortable that I now look forward to going to bed! I was advised to buy a mattress protector and would highly recommend one.
