This printer literally had one job! I don't need anything fancy or flashy. Just print my documents! This thing takes MINUTES to print 1 page, even its only a word doc, even if its 1 SENTENCE (no, I'm not exaggerating). Something as simple as loading paper is a whole headache! I trusted you, HP!!!! :'(

Would not connect to network. Had hard time connecting direct. Only had for 2 months now it won't print at all. Changed half full cartridges but prints nothing on paper. Total waste of money. Not the first time an HP has gone bad. NO MORE HP's for me.

Horrible printer. Also, it redacts legal documents, which I discovered when it allowed me to print about 5 documents before it lost the WiFi connection, which I have tried for 2 days to get back with no luck. Without WiFi it will not print. You have to manually flip the paper over to print on both sides. I have an Epson printer that's over 10 years old that automatically prints and scans on both sides. This printer is from the dark ages. Don't waste your money if you want a serious printer. I am returning.

This thing is an absolute piece of garbage. Never connects via wifi, airprint never an option, and only connects via its on wifi network. The ink runs out after 3 pages. Maybe HP should not put AI in their products and actually make something that works.

This printer constantly drops Wifi and fails to print when needed. Now it is giving a printer error that it fails to recognize the cartridge though it is the correct one. 3 hours of working with it today on time sensitive documents and it is a solid failure. Not sure where HP's "stress free" marketing idea came from but it is the worst printer I have ever used and totally unreliable. WILL NOT EVER purchase an HP printer again!

Worst printer I have ever owned. I purchased this HP printer because I had an HP laptop and thought they would be able to communicate readily with each other. This printer would not work if the internet was down - wi-fi working fine. Turns out it is part of the IoT that hackers use to conduct DDoS attacks around the world, which resulted in my HP laptop being compromised - and slow internet speeds when the printer was online. I checked if it was returnable to the store and the Sam's Club website said it was but the store said it was not. So this printer went in the trash.

I remember when Windows printers were plug and play. You'd plug them in, software would automatically install and that was that. With this one, despite my 50 years of computer experience, it took an hour on the phone with a representative to get it fully set up (included instructions were almost exclusively pictorial, almost no words). Now, big problem is when I specify the number of copies I want printed, it ignores that number and prints out 2-3 copies (when I want way more). Plenty of paper, plenty of ink and no error messages. Then I call HP support AGAIN. Even though I tell the "AI" the problem with my HP printer, in its infinite wisdom (and unbeknownst to me), it transfers me to laptop support. I wait 30 minutes to get someone, who then transfers me to printer support. I am speaking with that person for 2-3 minutes (who does little more than parrot my description of the problem) ... and then the call is disconnected. He then calls me back and THAT call is almost instantly disconnected (and this time, he does NOT call me back). HP USED to be the gold standard of printers. Sam's must get a lot of these returned (as this one is going to be).

The absolute worst printer of my life impossible to connect always has issues, even if you install the app, even if you buy their ink, never had a printer this difficult. I am actually shopping for a new printer if anyone has this printer recommends please share or if you know how to make this one work consistently. I'm shopping for a new printer !

This printer is what we needed to purchase for our home. What made it really great was HP and Sam’s give you 6 months free ink. We like the color of the printer, the ease of install and the quality of prints. I will say sometimes, the printer has trouble connecting to my Iphone sometimes but our Apple labtop, no problem at all. Also, one suggestion, if you purchase this printer, it takes an extra bit of time to start printing once you ask it to, so make sure you give it some time before asking it to do it again. Other than patience with the printer, we really do like this quiet printer

Didnt have too much luck with this printer. Kept having errors. Seems it would glitch with I tried to print on both sides. Reset several times, no real user info on what error code meant, display too small and lack of info. Finally just threw outside in the sidewalk. Had previous 5200 series HP for 15 years and finally starting to give but just bought a Epson in place of this one here. Just saying, maybe spending a little more is better for quality.
