[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Downy April Fresh for almost a month now and I love it! This is my favorite fabric softener. I especially like this product because it's a liquid fabric softener. I just pour it in the washing machine and my clothes come out static free. It's so easy to use and I don't have to worry about cleaning up dryer sheets. I have also noticed using the liquid works alot better then the dryer sheets. When I use dryer sheets, some of my clothes still have static. The liquid mixes with the water and all the clothes are static free. I also love the fresh smell of Downy. It leaves all my laundry smelling clean. I will definitely continue using Downy because it works great and smells even better!

We have a lot of sensitivities with laundry detergent and this hasn't bothered anyone! I made sure I added this when I washed all our bedding too, to keep that fresh scent. My husband, three kids and I love it!

I live downy April fresh, it reminds me of my childhood. This liquid fabric conditioner leave clothes soft, smelling great and without any static. I removed one star because my repairman told me liquid softener isn’t good for HE machines, it will cause build up in the tubes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a young family on a budget and admittedly I tried to save a few bucks by cutting out fabric softener with every load of laundry. I just didn't think it was a "necessity." However, I noticed our clothes looking duller and wearing out more quickly. Growing up my mom always used Downy so when I decided to start implementing softener back into our laundry routine it was my obvious go to. I am not crazy about the April Fresh scent but our clothes were noticeably softer and fresher and hold their quality longer. I won't be trying to skimp on fabric softener any longer and our clothes are thanking me.

Our family has been loyal Downy customers for as long as I can remember. As an adult, with my own kids, I keep on the tradition. There's just something about the smell of laundry fresh out of the dryer smelling amazing like Downy. I was provided a 12 load sample to review from Influenster and I love my Downy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love fabric softners in general but Downys New improved fabric conditioner is terrific. I have used the entire bottle already! It makes my clothes seem brighter and smell great. I used a clean towel that I had used downy on to dry my wet dog and I thought for sure that my towel would smell like wet dog when I was done but it actually still smelled like downy Which was amazing and a complete surprise. I would definitely use this product in the future!

The fragrance usually lasts for a day or two and that's what I've learned to expect. This April fresh Downy fabric softener totally blew me away. I am a person who likes prominent, strong scents and this Downy provided that. I did 3 separate loads to test it on different types of clothes and temperatures. The first load was sheets, underwear, socks, and towels. With the exception of one pair of my daughter's socks (I don't think a product exists that can make her socks smell perfect), everything else smelled amazing. The next load was whites. Equally came out of the dryer smelling fresh and pleasant. The 3rd load was colors, and once again, the Downy fabric softener did not disappoint. It's been 3 days since I washed everything, and I'm happy to report that the scent is still potent and there. It's not as strong as it was on day one, but everything still smells fresh and clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually wary of fabric softeners because of past experiences with products giving me an allergy. Downy April Fresh is an excellent product, it does what it claims to do and it was great on my family’s sensitive skin. My clothes smelled fresh and had a touchable softness. The only thing I didn’t like was tge intesity of the smell. Although it has an amazing smell, the intensity can be overwhelming. That might be a matter of preference but, overall, this is a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had only ever used dryer sheets, never anything to add to the wash. Now I understand why people use it so regularly. It's like adding conditioner with shampoo, shampoo alone will clean it but it'll leave it dried out. This scent was so wonderful and fresh and melded perfectly with the lavender Tide I use. Feeling comfy and fresh with this.

I don't know what you did to the original formula. Downy used to work great and smell nice. Now it gets all clumpy and clogs up the dispenser (which I clean frequently). You blame the thickening on temperature extremes. They must have happened during shipment to the grocery store. This never used to happen before, I would bet that you changed the formula to save money. Hard to believe that temperature is to blame, we have lived in the same climate for 50 years. I can't use this stuff and would like a refund.
