[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not typically a Downy user but was willing to give it a go. Following the directions based on washer loads, I don't feel as if my clothes were coming out with the April-freshness the product promises. Perhaps it's something to do with my water or I need to adjust how much I use. Just wasn't terribly impressed with the product.

I am not a fabric softener user, but I received this product for free from influenster. It came at the perfect time, my daughter and her family had a flood in their apartment and had to stay with us for a week. They brought their new baby and their two dogs with them and after a week of all of them sleeping together my bedding did not have the greatest odor. I washed three comforters, a set of sheets and pillowcases and used Downy in each load and everything came out smelling so fresh and amazing. I have already purchased a full size bottle. Even though I received my sample for free my opinion is my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, it makes my clothes amazingly soft and they smell like heaven. I've tried other products but this one clings to your clothes without that annoying heaviness. I can honestly say that ill only be buying Downy going forward.

I have been a loyal supporter of Downy products. I have always loved the way my clothes smell and feel after using fabric softener. With that being said, I'm just not a fan of this particular scent is all. I received Downy® Fabric Softener for free, but all opinions expressed are my own.

As many of the other reviewers have noted, Downy April Fresh is a staple in most American homes. Unfortunately, our family went to use the "new" formulation and had to rewash our clothes to get the overpowering scent to go away. It is not the comforting smell we have all come to love and expect. Please P&G, bring back the original formulation. I fear you are going to lose a lot of loyal customers with this change. I'm headed out to see if I can get any of the old formulation.

I absolutely love this fabric softener! It is the only scented product I can use without it making me itch all over. I usually use an unscented laundry soap and use this to give it a gentle soft smell. It also does a great job at making your clothes soft.

This is my go to. Its gentle and smells amazing! I even buy this stuff and put it in a spray bottle and spray my fabrics down with this stuff and it lasts for days. I love that it makes my laundry so soft too. You cant beat the price of this stuff either

Great classic scent of clean clothes. I love using this softener specifically on sheets blankets, curtains...basically anything cotton that you keep laying around at home I can genuinely say that my house smells like clean laundry for a week after washing everything with this.

4 stars for the amazing scent. It smells like a fresh clean clothes smell and both me and my fiance love to use this scent for clothes, the only issue I have with it is that it doesn't hold the scent on the clothing as well as the scent beads seem to do. It does do a good job of keeping our wash items soft. 

Downy was the fabric softener I grew up knowing the name of. It's all my mom used and the only brand I would use for many many years. It keeps clothes fresh and helps them keep their shape. I LOVE this stuff. The price is a little more than some other brands though. The higher price is the only down fall.
