[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes tried and true is just simply better than anything that comes after it. This is most certainly the case with Downy, especially the April Fresh scent. I have been a loyal customer for literally decades now. A little goes a long way, maybe because they have perfected this fabric softener, and that only comes with time. This specific scent honestly lasts for months. I can be at work, scratch my arm and the scent bursts from my clothes, reminding me why I do not cut corners or sacrifice with cheaper brands.

I have used Downy before, but normally when I find it on sale, but I always prefer liquid fabric softener over softener sheets. Using the Downy again just reminded me of how great it is over other fabric softeners. I just love the scents available and the original scent also has a fresh clean scent that just leaves my clothing smelling great for days. The way I use my fabric softener is with a downy ball in my washer machine during the washing cycle. I have found that using the ball takes the guess work out of remembering to add later in the cycle. I found also that the scent of the Downy last longer on my clothing than other fabric softeners. Downy is not expensive, but I can buy other softeners cheaper, and even coupons for the Downy are normally $.50 and really do not help. That's my only real con to the Downy is the price. I tested the Downy softener for free, but all opinions are my own.

I used never used fabric softener. The static was elimated. No wrinkling. I can not believe the difference. Reminds me of walking in my grandmother’s flower garden. I will used this product from now on. You can’t go wrong using Downy Fabric Softner! It protects your clothes also! No fading! Safe for even my silk tops. Love sleeping on my sheets after using Downy!

I received a sample of this product for free from Influenster, in exchange for my honest review. I had a huge tub of clothes that I let sit for a couple of years. The clothes had been packed since we lived in an apartment whose previous tenant smoked like a chimney, so they were packed away already smelling bad and came out smelling worse. For the last year, I've washed items but they never stayed smelling good. The stale smoke smell always came back. One wash with our low-scent homemade detergent and this Downy product, and my favorite Christmas shirts smell totally normal again, and have stayed that way for a few weeks! I'm so thrilled!

Downy does a great job of making clothes feel soft and helps with wrinkles if you remove the clothes from the dryer right away. No need to iron! Downy is a good quality product and I would not use any other brand. It does it all!

I love this product leaves clothing feeling super soft and not rough and coarse. It's gentle on the skin and on the clothes. Has a great smell. And doesn't leave a residue behind in my washer. I feel it is very affordable. And I do recommend for sure

It brings lasting freshness for all my clothes. My clothes’s colors are protected. Beside, this fabric softens, fights stretch, reduces wrinkles, anti-static, anti-fuzz. All my family members like the fresh scent and feel comfortable when putting clothes on.

i have always been a fan of downy but the original version doesnt last a long time on clothes after you have washed and stored them i was on a hunt for that perfect clothes softener that would not only make my clothes for but keep them smelling clean and good and this does the trick i highly recommend it. i was given this product to review for free my opinion stated is my own.
