This has been my go to softener since forever. My kids have sensitive skin so I have to be careful trying new scents because they’ve broken out in hives every time I tried. This softener is fresh and not overwhelming in scent which us perfect for me.

I love Downy! Makes everything smell fresh and soft. This version of Downy smells close to the original. Thank you for bringing it back. I will keep using the April fresh version. My favorite! I especially love the smell of my sheets right out of the dryer.

The revised scent of April Fresh Downy has a very chemical smell and is nothing like the original scent. Very disappointed, especially after growing up with this softener and raising my family with it. Both of my grown daughters are disappointed as well. We will be looking at products other than Procter and Gamble. Please bring back the original April Fresh scent!

I have always been a believer in dryer sheets, it's what my mom used when I was growing up and it's what I've used for over 20 years. A few times over the years I've thought about trying liquid but I always worried it would be messy or that I'd forget to put it in the wash. I was really happy to receive this sample to try and started using it the next time I did laundry. What I noticed right away was the smell and how wonderful it was, not too heavy but very pleasant. I was also surprised to discover that it wasn't messy at all, the liquid softener is nice and thick so it pours without making a mess! And I really didn't need to worry about forgetting the softener, I just stored it right next to my detergent and found it easy and quick to add in before starting the wash. I've now used it in four loads of laundry and I love how fresh our clothes smell and I definitely notice the difference in the lack of static vs when I use a dryer sheet. We live in the high desert so it's very dry here and sometimes I need to add in 2 dryer sheets on large loads of laundry to remove all the static but this wasn't a problem for the Downy liquid. Overall I was very impressed and will be switching, after all these years, to Downy Liquid Softener!! I received a free sample bottle of Downy's April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener from Influenster, this in no way influenced my opinion of the product.

Let me start off by saying downy ultra conditioner smells amazing! And it makes the clothes feel amazing! My daughter who is about to turn 2 has verrrryyy sensitive skin and it doesn't make her brake out at all! I got a free sample from influenster but my opionion is 100% honest and all me! To use softener you have to put it in during the second wash cycle and I love it so much! My clothes feel awesome and smells so so so good I will continue to use this instead of the sheets! My go to scent. I use the on my husband pants and all our clothes. This is the best softener out on the market. I will buy no other brand. Thank you Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener! I’d love if you’d make a Plumeria scent. It would remind me of home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use pods that have downy in them and have always LOVED the smell of the downy but I didn't feel like there was enough downy infused in the pod so I was not getting the real benefits. Adding this product to my laundry made a real difference. Not only an even fresher sent but the fabric felt SO soft! I will stay loyal to using this product from now on!
