After trying several softeners, the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner is the only one that eliminates odors while softening the crustiness of his soiled clothes religiously! I am also amazed of how it helps maintain the colors of the fabrics since they have to be washed more than normal due to frequent accidents. This has become my laundry secret weapon!

I wouldn't recommend for my friends to get it however they may like it. its outside my door so I don't get sick like a dog.

I've noticed since I've started using it that my clothes are softer and smell much fresher. I really like this scent. We own 7 dogs and 2 cats, so some items like the dog blankets we normally have to wash 2-3 times to get them smelling fresh and clean. However after adding Downy it just takes one wash to get them smelling good again. I didn't realize how much difference a fabric softener could make, but it really does. I plan keeping this item stocked at all time, my clothes and blankets are better for it.

From the moment I opened the bottle I had a feeling I would love this product. It has a wonderful scent that makes you think of spring, even on the gloomiest of days. It even made my laundry area smell great when the load of wash was done! The clothes came out of the dryer smelling and feeling great, with no static. Definitely a repeat product for me!

Which was perfect timing since today was wash day and I had one more load of laundry to do and the toughest one yet. Pillows. I have the unfortunate luck to have my significant other to be a total sweatball at night meaning come morning time the pillowcase and all is soaked and of course reeks of sweat. I always need to have some sort of deodorizing agent to combat the smell. I always have to put a scoop of baking soda kind and a scoop of liquor detergent. Right away I noticed the powerful smell of the Downy. Wow. Definitely more powerful than the other fabric softener I buy. I put it in with the load of pillows and left it out on the line to air dry after it was done. Definitely smell great on the line as well. Can't wait to see if the smell lasts because for me that truly the test... It s been a week and the pillows still smell great. Definitely a product to keep in my pantry! Lasted a lot longer and stronger than my usual brand.

We have only every used the original April Fresh Downy. Picked up the bottle yesterday, used it today and thought maybe I grabbed the wrong brand. It smells horrible. I am now rewashing my load of laundry with the hopes that the strong perfume scent will come out. What a disappointment.

It is way more than a traditional fabric softener, it gets deep down in the threads of the clothing and makes them super soft and makes them appear brand new. Definitely get your moneys worth and the scent is pleasant and relaxing!

With Downy I get exactly what I need and expect in a fabric enhancer, great gentle scent and gentle on the skin all while leaving our clothes feeling soft. An added benefit is with using this product your clothes are getting conditioned in the wash and less likely to stretch out. It is easy to use and a little bit really does go a long way. My family is satisfied with Downy’s performance.

I have always been a believer in dryer sheets, it's what my mom used when I was growing up and it's what I've used for over 20 years. A few times over the years I've thought about trying liquid but I always worried it would be messy or that I'd forget to put it in the wash. I was really happy to receive this sample to try and started using it the next time I did laundry. What I noticed right away was the smell and how wonderful it was, not too heavy but very pleasant. I was also surprised to discover that it wasn't messy at all, the liquid softener is nice and thick so it pours without making a mess! And I really didn't need to worry about forgetting the softener, I just stored it right next to my detergent and found it easy and quick to add in before starting the wash. I've now used it in four loads of laundry and I love how fresh our clothes smell and I definitely notice the difference in the lack of static vs when I use a dryer sheet. We live in the high desert so it's very dry here and sometimes I need to add in 2 dryer sheets on large loads of laundry to remove all the static but this wasn't a problem for the Downy liquid. Overall I was very impressed and will be switching, after all these years, to Downy Liquid Softener!!
