[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Downy fabric softener. It always makes all of our laundry smell clean, it’s got a great fresh scent and the soft feeling it leaves is priceless. My children can lay on on their blankets all day long just to enjoy the softness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly have not been consistent with use of fabric softener so I was interested in what my impression would be of Downy April Fresh Laundry Enhancer. I have four kids so laundry is a constant in our home. I tried many thing to test Downy April Fresh Laundry Enhancer. I washed all my old towels that commonly smell musty after the first use. It did make a difference with them. They no longer smell bad after their first use and they are soft again. I did try to hang towels on the line but they still came in stiff so I rewashed them. The smell is fresh and clean but not overpowering. I am interested in how it helps to maintain colors after many washes. Overall, it did not knock my socks off but I was not disappointed either.

Downy has been my go to product. The smell, softness and control of static cling had been dependable. I recently been noticing static cling on my clothes that caused me to notice the fresh smell was not as pronounced (I could almost live with this). But having my clothes cling to me, no way. You Downy have thinned. Downy has tried to pull the rug over our eyes. I AM BUYING WATER? and in turn am flushing my $$ down the drain, because this product no longer works. Be the product we have trusted for decades. Your customers are smart and we have chosen to buy a quality product because we knew it worked, at times spending a little more then on a product that did not work as well. Now it doesn't, and you have tried to fool us the consumer. Shame on you! If you had improved your product you would have announced it in Bold letter on your packaging. When you thin your product do you announce NOT SO IMPROVED, WATER ADDED! NO. Bring the old Downy back. Keep your life long Downy user.

The Ultra Downy April Fresh fabric softner smells amazing not only when you first open it but when you put it in your laundry. I was very surpised to find that even days after cloths have been washed and and dried and put away they still have the April Fresh smell to them. I like that you do not have to use a large amount to get that fresh smell days later.

I also noticed that it helped with stretching and it also made my towels super soft! I only wish the scent lasted a little longer, but considering I have stinky dogs that may be the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner has been a great addition to my laundry routine. I've noticed since I've started using it that my clothes are softer and smell much fresher. I really like this scent. We own 7 dogs and 2 cats, so some items like the dog blankets we normally have to wash 2-3 times to get them smelling fresh and clean. However after adding Downy it just takes one wash to get them smelling good again. I didn't realize how much difference a fabric softener could make, but it really does. I plan keeping this item stocked at all time, my clothes and blankets are better for it.

Yes - why did you change the scent? Why did you change the formula? This has a terrible stink - Downy no longer makes the laundry soft and it does leave lumpy blue stuff in the dispenser. Also, why do you use such a silly cap that when you try to pour after shaking the product runs onto or into the washing machine?. As I said it smells so bad - it makes me crabby.

I'm so disappointed I used this product. My entire load of laundry had blue strikes all over every piece! I've tried washing the clothes again but the stains are still there. Some of the clothes were brand new! Not what I expected from such a name brand product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently started using Downy Fabric Softener and I can't believe the difference it has made in the long lasting freshness of my workout clothes. I have tried almost every other brand of softener out there to help get that "sweat" smell out of my workout clothes. With my clothes smelling fresh so much longer, I won't need to throw away the old ones and replace as often! I even walked into my laundry room the day after doing laundry and the room still smelled fresh. I can't wait to use this with my towels and smell this April freshness every time I dry off.
