Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener leaves my clothes feeling soft and smelling good days after being washed. Wearing clothes straight out of the dryer smelling clean and fresh! This is the only fabric softener I will ever use. Highly recommend to anyone looking to switch fabric softeners.

I'm always curious how a fabric softener would compare, and I was pleasantly surprised with this Downy product. April Fresh would not usually be my first choice scent, but it was not too overpowering when the clothes came out of the dryer. I liked the way our clothes smelled - not too floral or fruity. They were very soft, although I did not a bit of static cling. This could have also been because I used a bit less as I was apprehensive about the intensity of the scent. Overall, good product and makes me think twice about going back to dryer sheets.

I received a sample of the Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric softener completely free of charge for reviewing purposes through Influenster.com but in my most honest opinion i have got to say that this product is magnificent, while i do feel the scent can be a little over whelming at times (If used more than stipulated) , It leaves my laundry feeling soft and smelling fresh for days! Clothes seriously look brand new again! Totally recommended.

I have always been a believer in dryer sheets, it's what my mom used when I was growing up and it's what I've used for over 20 years. A few times over the years I've thought about trying liquid but I always worried it would be messy or that I'd forget to put it in the wash. I was really happy to receive this sample to try and started using it the next time I did laundry. What I noticed right away was the smell and how wonderful it was, not too heavy but very pleasant. I was also surprised to discover that it wasn't messy at all, the liquid softener is nice and thick so it pours without making a mess! And I really didn't need to worry about forgetting the softener, I just stored it right next to my detergent and found it easy and quick to add in before starting the wash. I've now used it in four loads of laundry and I love how fresh our clothes smell and I definitely notice the difference in the lack of static vs when I use a dryer sheet. We live in the high desert so it's very dry here and sometimes I need to add in 2 dryer sheets on large loads of laundry to remove all the static but this wasn't a problem for the Downy liquid. Overall I was very impressed and will be switching, after all these years, to Downy Liquid Softener!! They did have the April fresh pink top downy... So what the heck I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! It's not too flowery smelling which I was afraid of. It smelt my whole house up and everyone who came in wanted to know what it was. I thought I was going to have to beat them off with a stick once the laundry was done.

Never have I used a product that made my crusty blankets soft again. I used to have crunchy feeling clothes that I had to air dry but after this product, they are soft to the touch and do not have that rough, crunchy feeling!!

Ultra Downy Liquid fabric softener is the only fabric softener I use. I've tried to save a few pennies by buying cheaper competitor products but they're never the same quality. Ultra Downy April Fresh has a light clean scent that leaves even my heavy cottons soft. I also use it on my delicates and it leaves them in soft perfect condition. My only complaint is that it's more expensive than most fabric softners but I always try to buy when I have a coupon or its on sale. I received Downy Ultra Fabric Softner as a free gift for my review but I assure you that my opinions are entirely mine and I try my best to be as honest as I can be.

There is a apparent difference from when I didn't use the softener on a load to when I did. The clothes feel and smell drastically different. I love that the fresh smell on the clothes lasts while you're wearing them and doesn't fade too quickly. You do not need to fill the entire cap of fluid when you do a load of laundry either. A little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to make their clothes last longer and feel and smell fresh after every wash!
