[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love when we use Downy on our towel load in the washer. Each time we use Downy the towels smell fresh and soft. In the past our towels had a mildew smell, but using the Downy soften they smell clean every day. We have started using it for all our loads to make our clothes smell fresh and clean.

Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner My all time favorite fabric softener! I don’t think I could love a fabric softener anymore than I do this one! It reminds me of childhood memories. I love for my family’s clothes to smell fresh and not just right after they get out of the washer. This lasts and has the most pleasant scent.

I don't know what you did to the original formula. Downy used to work great and smell nice. Now it gets all clumpy and clogs up the dispenser (which I clean frequently). You blame the thickening on temperature extremes. They must have happened during shipment to the grocery store. This never used to happen before, I would bet that you changed the formula to save money. Hard to believe that temperature is to blame, we have lived in the same climate for 50 years. I can't use this stuff and would like a refund.

I received this product free for my review, but all opinions are my own. Since I had my son, we've dealt with static cling craziness -- socks would show up in sheets weeks later and baby stuff is so tiny anyway, so stuff was just always missing. I love that this helps reduce static cling, the scent is so fresh, but not irritating to the skin at all and it's a name I know and trust.

The clothes weren't full of static & I used a very small amount on each load. I shared this product with a couple of friends & highly recommend it!

I love Downy fabric softener. I use the liquid in my washer and then use the dryer sheets to get my laundry extra soft. It leaves my laundry soft and smelling so very nice. The scent lasts a long time. The smell of Downy brings back so many memories of my childhood.

My laundry is comprised of work clothes, stinky sports uniforms, delicate items, and lots of towels and Downy leaves everything soft and smelling fresh (for those who have hockey enthusiasts in your house, you know a product is good if it can help get rid of the horrible hockey uniform smell). I love the fresh smell of Downy - it isn't too strong and it doesn't fight with a woman's perfume. In addition, the fresh smell remains even if an item sits in the closet unused for awhile. One of my teenage son's friends actually asked what we used to wash our clothes - just the fact that a teenage boy would ask is a product endorsement. As it relates to softness, Downy does an exceptional job. I have four children who think used towels should reside on the bathroom floor, so by the time the towels make it to the laundry room, they are mildewed or stiff as a board. Downy helps eliminate the smell of mildew and leaves the towels soft and fluffy. If only Downy could get my kids to hang their towels up . . . one can dream. One of my children suffers from eczema, so we have to be careful about detergents and softeners. Downy is the only softener we've used that doesn't cause our son to erupt in an eczema outbreak. In our home, Downy delivers, so it has become a staple in the laundry room!

I absolutely love this fabric softener! It is the only scented product I can use without it making me itch all over. I usually use an unscented laundry soap and use this to give it a gentle soft smell. It also does a great job at making your clothes soft.
