I've been a devout user of fabric softener sheets for years and have seriously considered switching to liquid after trying the Liquid Softener from Downy. A little softener really goes a long way and leaves my clothes smelly fresh.

I stopped using liquid softener because I felt I had to use too much to make any difference in my laundry. That is not the case with this Downy, one cap is more than enough - even a little less still does the job! It smells so good, not only while washing, but stays with the clothes all day! My son plays football and brings home some funky smelling clothes, they smell so good after a wash with Downy and don’t smell near as bad after practice! Would definitely recommend! I know I will continue to use this fabric softener!

The revised scent of April Fresh Downy has a very chemical smell and is nothing like the original scent. Very disappointed, especially after growing up with this softener and raising my family with it. Both of my grown daughters are disappointed as well. We will be looking at products other than Procter and Gamble. Please bring back the original April Fresh scent!

Not only does it keep our clothes smelling clean, it actually makes the whole house smell clean from washing our linens with Downy fabric softener. I like to rotate between the different Downy scents so we dont get used to any one. They're all great. In addition to the fragrance, which is the main reason I use fabric softener, Downy also makes our clothes and towels soft and prevent fuzzies and hair from clinging as much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is great! It was really easy to use in my HE washer. It made my laundry smell great. Not only that, but it made my clothes much less wrinkly, much softer and they have way less static than normal. I didn't even have to use a dryer sheet after washing. I am so pleased with the Downy Fabric Enhancer that I am adding it to my daily laundry routine.

My clothes always smell absolutely wonderful after using this product and they are so extremely soft. I will use NO OTHER fabric softener. I received a free bottle in a VoxBox. This was an extra bonus for me. I always recommend Downy to everyone I know.

Downy April Fresh smells so inviting I just want to wrap all my clothes around me and smell them for hours. I even put it in a spray bottle with some water to freshen up bedding, clothes and rugs. It really works. It not only smells devine, but my laundry is so soft. I am hooked!

Absolutely love this detergent, Used this to wash a load of my daughter laundry and the end result of it all was amazing. Once I took her clothes out of the dryer the clothing felt very soft, clothes were very clean and the scent of it was refreshing and scent lasted for about a week on her clothes. So happy that I got a chance to test Downy Fabric Softener for Free

Even my 15 year old told me how great his clothes smell. Not to mention, it makes my whole house smell good too. I will definitely be buying Downy again!

I've been using Downy for years and years...it's the ONLY fabric softener I have used! UNTIL NOW!! I bought Downy a few days ago...only looked for the April Fresh scent listed on it...washed my clothes, walked into my laundry room and couldn't believe the SMELL ...actually it smelled like old clothes that had been sitting around...or maybe a generic detergent! I examined the clothes...smelled my Cheer bottle...smelled the Downy and then knew what was wrong...looked at the label and saw FABRIC PROTECT! omg...it's HORRIBLE and CERTAINLY NOT APRIL FRESH! YOU GUYS MESSED UP WHEN YOU ADDED "PEARLS" a few years ago...but NOW YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER!!! (and by the looks of things, more than `1 ) It wasn't broke...why did you mess it up??? Unless you bring back the original/or even latest Downy, I won't be buying anymore! In fact, I'm hoping I'll be able to get my money back...going back to the store tomorrow!! THE SMELL OF THIS IS HORRIBLE....WHAT WERE YOU PEOPLE THINKING?? AND if you wash clothes properly, that will protect them enough...WE DON'T NEED YOU PROTECTING OUR CLOTHES!!!! Wondering if the dryer sheets are messed up, also??? LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FABRIC SOFTENER PRONTO!!!!
