[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long long ago, I had a Downy ball and I'd use fabric softner. I think what changed for me, is that I went to college. And when you're broke? You spend your money on the detergent and dryer sheets. You don't think about buying the softner or any of the middle step stuff. Even if it was as simple as dropping the ball into the washer. So many years later in my professional life, it still wasn't a thought of mine. Sure, I wasn't a college kid anymore. Sure, I had the money for it. But if I wasn't using it for the longest time, why should I go back? My clothes feel fine, they smell decent after washing them? Its just unnecessary... ...I WAS WRONG! I love to shop at Goodwill and other thrift stores. And sometimes, there are things that just as much as you clean them, they just don't feel or smell right. Enter in the cutest elephant that you'd ever seen. He was well loved, and his blue stuffed corduroy body was well loved and appreciated. He still was fluffy, but there was something about him that wasn't quite right. Something didn't smell fresh after three trips through the laundry. And if I'm going to treasure this guy as much as the person before me? I want to make sure that I'm not smelling their funk. So I waved goodbye to my blue friend and set him gently in the washer holding onto a Downy ball filled with the April Fresh product. 30 minutes and a dryer cycle later? My little buddy was fresher than fresh! I used it later that week with my gym clothes. I'm used to my gym clothes being funky because I'll live out of a suitcase with some Febreeze as my only cure. Now? I want to see if I can convince the TSA that a Downy Ball filled with softner is an acceptable 2 oz carry on. Thank you Downy! You've made my blue friend brighter smelling and kept my wife happy with my gym clothes!

My mother used it when I was younger and now I have continued to use it as an adult. I believe in the saying, "if it is not broke, then why fix it? " Plus, I just love the smell and the way it makes my laundry feel.

It smells wonderful and keeps my family's clothes smelling freshly laundered for so much longer. Even more importantly, I've noticed a huge improvement in the feel of our clothes. Less pilling, less wrinkles, and I swear, the clothes actually feel softer. Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is now a staple in our household.

There's just something about doing laundry with Downy. I always know our clothes are going to smell fresh and clean when I use this fabric softener. I've tried others (sorry Downy) in an effort to save a little money, but I always return to Downy in the end. Always fresh smelling, the classic scent is my personal favorite.

I only use this brand because my skin is very sensitive. Downy doesnt irritate the skin like other brand. It makes my clothes feel soft and the scent is wonderful. 1 bottle last me a while, normally I only measure 1 cup per load. The lid comes handy for measuring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a dryer sheet girl. ALWAYS! When I got the sample of the Downy fabric conditioner, I wasn't sure how useful it would be to me. I shook it up and opened it and right away noticed that it smelled wonderful!!! Not too powerful, but fantastic. I hadn't used a fabric softener in my HE machine before, so I read the directions and poured it in the separate dispenser. While the machine was going, the smell was amazing, even right outside of the laundry room. When it was time for the dryer, I wondered whether or not to include a dryer sheet. I didn't know if this made it not necessary, or if they were meant to be used together? So, I skipped the dryer sheet, not knowing what I would get. Static drives me crazy. When the clothes were finished drying, there was NO static! None! Without a dryer sheet! Very nice!!

The smell is a great kick start to the summer months and clothes smell fresh as they are hung out to dry or thrown into the dryer itself. This is a product that I would recommend to family and friends.

april fresh can mean many things to many people. A clear scent of rain, lovely scent of flowers, whatever. Whereas, the Original Scent was a tried and true product. Have no idea why downy felt they had to change from Original Scent to april fresh. Please bring the Original Scent back; otherwise, I will have to go back to using another company's dryer sheets.

I also noticed that it helped with stretching and it also made my towels super soft! I only wish the scent lasted a little longer, but considering I have stinky dogs that may be the problem.
