[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm REALLY liking my April Fresh Ultra Downy! I had used Downy products in the past. However, the measuring lines in the caps were NOT for he products - and we had to use trial and error - since then, they've added the NEW markings based on regular, NOT "ultra", measuring lines built in to the cap. What I AM liking about the new cap that I have is the fact that they've taken the guess work out and are including the ACTUAL measurement markings for the "he" compatible concentrated product - NICE! It has a very nice aroma. The product does seem to soften, however, it also depends on whether you do one or two rinses. I have found a couple of things that I do not care for - the fact that the fragrance does not last - only three or four days, tops. And, It would be nice if the makers of Downy would NOT use a coloring agent OR, at least make it less blue and more "opaque" - almost clear. The product really doesn't keep my clothing bright, doesn't have long lasting freshness, I still have static cling UNLESS I use a dryer sheet with it, NOR has it prevented pilling, etc. - Basically, it seems like the product does NOT do for my laundry what I have read that it is suppose to do. Yes, I DO use it from time to time - I grew up on it and it's hard to switch to something else when you've used a product for over 50 years. I DO like the fragrance and have been known to cut the bottles open - after use and dried - cutting the bottle up to use as scent providers for small areas - drawers, etc. Do I recommend this product? Yes, as a laundry additive and NOT based on all of the marketing hype. Just try it not thinking about the statements made for selling purposes and just try it and see if it's something that you'll want to use. The thing is, NO product can do what has been claimed - it's impossible - because of the rigors of daily usage of the garments AND all of the agitation of the washing machine AND water - especially, if you have city water or well water - treated or untreated. I do use it and probably will for a long time!

Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner smells fantastic and is not overpowering either. And the clothes were sooo soft. Definitely on my list to purchase again and worth the money!

I've been buying downy april fresh since it came out and always loved the smell I don't know what happened to this batch I just bought or if it was a bad batch but it smells terrible definitely not the same I don't know if you changed the formula if you did change it back to the original this one I just bought stinks.

I received a sample of Downy Ultra April fresh scent to review and I must say I just love the fresh scent of our laundry. Our laundry was so soft. This product is gentle on your clothes. No harshness. We love that our clothes have a wonderful scent after a wash. I would totally recommend this product to all my friends.

Great classic scent of clean clothes. I love using this softener specifically on sheets blankets, curtains...basically anything cotton that you keep laying around at home I can genuinely say that my house smells like clean laundry for a week after washing everything with this.

It not only softened my clothes, but it made them smell so fresh and so clean and the smell lingers throughout my home. I received compliments while grocery shopping from complete strangers saying how good my clothes smelled. I am definitely gonna purchase this.

I stopped using liquid softener because I felt I had to use too much to make any difference in my laundry. That is not the case with this Downy, one cap is more than enough - even a little less still does the job! It smells so good, not only while washing, but stays with the clothes all day! My son plays football and brings home some funky smelling clothes, they smell so good after a wash with Downy and don’t smell near as bad after practice! Would definitely recommend! I know I will continue to use this fabric softener!

My husband works with a smelly chemical for his job which leaves his work clothes smelling terrible. I used to have to wash them two or three times to get the smell out, but after using Downy just once they are clean, fresh and soft... ready for him to wear the next week for work! Downy is my go to fabric softener and freshener! I was lucky enough to try this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

I really like the scent of the powder Tide detergent with Downy and thought that this Downy liquid would be pretty much the same. It is not. It bears no resemblance to the original Downy liquid that I remember using. The scent it leaves on the clothes is not pleasant at all. I will not be using any more of this product and will donate the bottle to someone else.

I love the classic April Fresh Scent! .I love the way my sheets feel and they smell good even up to the day I rewash them. I had a thought that it would be good to also create a liquid downy in the Outdoor fresh scent of Bounce. Those two scents are my favorite!
