I received a sample of Downy Ultra April fresh scent to review and I must say I just love the fresh scent of our laundry. Our laundry was so soft. This product is gentle on your clothes. No harshness. We love that our clothes have a wonderful scent after a wash. I would totally recommend this product to all my friends.

This product was sent to me by Influenster and Downy for review. I honestly have never tried downy due to the Rose type smell, but I decided to use it on my clothes, and I must say I was dumbfounded at what I have been missing. It left my clothes nice and soft and the smell filled my room and my laundry room, it just smelled so nice. I would definitely repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The liquid fabric softener is wonderful. The smell is more for women I think however. There is four men in the house, and they think it smells too girly, too floral. I love it though. So, now, I sometime wash mine separate...lol...

4 stars for the amazing scent. It smells like a fresh clean clothes smell and both me and my fiance love to use this scent for clothes, the only issue I have with it is that it doesn't hold the scent on the clothing as well as the scent beads seem to do. It does do a good job of keeping our wash items soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Downy softener forever and was excited to see they have enhanced the product. Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is a win-win. The smell itself is a calming feel good smell. My clothes not only smells great but they are soft. My sheets are so soft as well as my towels. My work clothes come out soft and I don't have to iron my scrub shirts any longer which was a task I hated. Best of all is that one bottle contains so much to help maintain my clothes, towels, sheets and undergarments. 

I have used Downey softener for years and love it. The scents are so calming and leave your laundry smelling great! My clothes are always soft not stiff. The bottle is easy to grasp and pour into your dispenser. I will continue using Downey as long as they continue making it. I recycle my jug or use it in craft projects!

Ultra Downy Fabric Softener Liquid in the April Fresh scent is an absolute staple for my laundry. The scent is simply delightful . it leaves my clothes smelling wonderfully clean and fresh, a scent that lasts. But beyond the scent, the real magic is how soft and fluffy it makes my laundry feel. Towels, sheets, clothes—they all come out feeling luxurious, not stiff or rough. It also helps reduce static cling, which is a lifesaver for certain fabrics. With 140 fl oz providing up to 190 loads, it's a great value that ensures my clothes always smell and feel nice. This is a great size bottle and the size we normally get; this last month we had to get the larger bottle as this size wasn't available. It works great in our laundry. I absolutely love it!.

I have always been a believer in dryer sheets, it's what my mom used when I was growing up and it's what I've used for over 20 years. A few times over the years I've thought about trying liquid but I always worried it would be messy or that I'd forget to put it in the wash. I was really happy to receive this sample to try and started using it the next time I did laundry. What I noticed right away was the smell and how wonderful it was, not too heavy but very pleasant. I was also surprised to discover that it wasn't messy at all, the liquid softener is nice and thick so it pours without making a mess! And I really didn't need to worry about forgetting the softener, I just stored it right next to my detergent and found it easy and quick to add in before starting the wash. I've now used it in four loads of laundry and I love how fresh our clothes smell and I definitely notice the difference in the lack of static vs when I use a dryer sheet. We live in the high desert so it's very dry here and sometimes I need to add in 2 dryer sheets on large loads of laundry to remove all the static but this wasn't a problem for the Downy liquid. Overall I was very impressed and will be switching, after all these years, to Downy Liquid Softener!! I received a free sample bottle of Downy's April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener from Influenster, this in no way influenced my opinion of the product.

The product is thick and clumpy. I diluted it with water when I used it but it was hard to mix. When I put the cap back on the bottle it oozed out of the bottle, making a mess. I do not care for the fragrance. Based on other reviews I have read this is a common occurrence. I am throwing the rest of the bottle away and trying a different product...no more Downy for me!
