[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Downy April Fresh fabric softner along with my Tide Pods purchase. I used it exactly as directed and when I went to remove my clothes from my washer, the softner had not dissolved in the water and was stuck to some of my clothes. The way in which it was stuck cannot be described as anything else other than snot-looking. I did an extra rinse and spin thinking that would help...NOPE! I had to rewash the clothes TWO MORE TIMES! I've always loved the P&G product line and have never had an issue with their products. However, I will NOT be buying Downy fabric softner. Thankfully I didn't pay for this sample or I would be even more irate!

I've tried everything including the Febreeze, Sport, all of it. The combination of this product with Tide's detergent with Downy April Fresh makes all of his co-workers ask how he gets his clothes so fresh. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

This product, the Downy fabric softener, truly works great. I can even use it on my infant baby girls clothing and bedding with no skin irritation for her. It works very well also for all my clothing, house hold fabrics, begging, etc... It smells very good to top it all off as well!! All in all, great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is our "go to" fabric softener! We won't use any other brand! It smells like "Spring", and leaves our clothes softer than any other fabric softener we've used. Not only is this the best we've found, it's also one of the best priced products in our local stores. Our clothes don't fade with this product, and my sweaters don't get those annoying fuzzies....I wish I would have found it sooner! I highly recommend trying it out!

This product smells soooo good! My laundry smells super fresh! It seems to work well. I'm not normally a fabric softener user but to get the fresh scent in my clothes I'm convinced this is something I'll be purchasing for a long time!! It works great to soften clothes and keeps them in great condition and the colors bright. The smell is lasting which I love! Definitely been around forever for a reason. I purchased some expensive clothes recently and am using Downy Enhancer on them. So far, great! My clothes are soft and no pilling! Great product!

I'm so disappointed I used this product. My entire load of laundry had blue strikes all over every piece! I've tried washing the clothes again but the stains are still there. Some of the clothes were brand new! Not what I expected from such a name brand product.

I've been using Downy Ultra for years and I was in love with the scent, it was very fresh and distinct from other brands. However when I bought some this week they had a new fabric protection feature which I thought was great. When I got home to use it, I was extremely disappointed by the new smell it had. Yes, it leaves our clothes really soft but with an awful smell. The new scent is similar to another brand which is called Suavitel or something similar. The smell is somehow acrid and very unpleasant. I really hope they were only the ones I bought this time.
