My laundry is comprised of work clothes, stinky sports uniforms, delicate items, and lots of towels and Downy leaves everything soft and smelling fresh (for those who have hockey enthusiasts in your house, you know a product is good if it can help get rid of the horrible hockey uniform smell). I love the fresh smell of Downy - it isn't too strong and it doesn't fight with a woman's perfume. In addition, the fresh smell remains even if an item sits in the closet unused for awhile. One of my teenage son's friends actually asked what we used to wash our clothes - just the fact that a teenage boy would ask is a product endorsement. As it relates to softness, Downy does an exceptional job. I have four children who think used towels should reside on the bathroom floor, so by the time the towels make it to the laundry room, they are mildewed or stiff as a board. Downy helps eliminate the smell of mildew and leaves the towels soft and fluffy. If only Downy could get my kids to hang their towels up . . . one can dream. One of my children suffers from eczema, so we have to be careful about detergents and softeners. Downy is the only softener we've used that doesn't cause our son to erupt in an eczema outbreak. In our home, Downy delivers, so it has become a staple in the laundry room!

Are clothes are as soft as they've ever been. We don't have much static on our clothes, the integrity of the clothes is in tact with less fuzz coming off. Ironing is at minimum in our house hold right now. We love it.

I found my clothes smell better, feel softer and also come out with less wrinkles. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to have the freshest laundry and the best feel.

The smell is a great kick start to the summer months and clothes smell fresh as they are hung out to dry or thrown into the dryer itself. This is a product that I would recommend to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I go to Downy Liquid Fabric Softener whenever I want to ensure softness, color protection and a great smell. The dryer sheets don't even come close. This April Fresh Fabric Enhancer does not disappoint. I use it in every load of laundry.

I am not a fan of fabric softeners because of all the chemicals. I did use it in a load of laundry to say that I used it. It made the clothes smell nice, and have a softness to them. But I won't be using this again. Thank you for the sample. I tried this bottle out I did try Downy out for free through Influenster, but all the opinions are my own.

I was sent this free sample and my opinions are my own this was the first time I've tried downy's fabric softener and wow the smell is so fresh and it's been a week since I washed my sheets and the smell is still there! I loved this I'll have to buy some more! I have now found my go to fabric softener

It seems they have totally watered it down. It is so thin and liquid it pours out so fast. It doesn't even seem to make the clothes come out with a fresh scent much anymore now either. I feel it is not worth the money ANYMORE. It was never THIS THIN and I am now changing my brand. I will not throw my money down the drain. I always loved this one for years and used nothing else....not anymore

My husband wears blue jeans to work and since I tried Ultra Downy his pants are softer and they don't require as much ironing. I don't know if wrinkle control is supposed to be a benefit but it does seem to help. The smell is light and fresh which is nice; I don't feel like my clothes are competing with my perfume.
