My husband wears blue jeans to work and since I tried Ultra Downy his pants are softer and they don't require as much ironing. I don't know if wrinkle control is supposed to be a benefit but it does seem to help. The smell is light and fresh which is nice; I don't feel like my clothes are competing with my perfume. Static cling has been eliminated from my laundry! I will definitely be buying this product. I received Ultra Downy® April Fresh Fabric Softener for free to test, but all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently in the throes of deep cleaning my home. When I received the Downy, I decided to use it to wash all my curtains and bed linens. Let me just say, using Downy on the curtains could not have been a better decision. Every room smelled like a little slice of heaven. I only wish it wasn’t quite so hot outside, then I could open the windows and let the breeze drift the smell.

Now I found the secret! Downy liquid fabric softener makes all the difference in making my clothes and towels soft and fluffy and smelling awesome! The babies blankets feel extra soft now too!

I miss the old scent. This new formula that has been out for a while is too strong. I open my washer after doing a load of laundry and the smell literally smacks me in the face when I open the door. I shouldn’t be choking on fumes from my bedding when trying to sleep because the fabric softener is too overpowering. On a side note— as other reviewers have mentioned, my one star review is changed to a four star review after selecting “preview” before posting.

I used this on my kids blankets and omg it smelled so good and left them feeling super soft! I would totally recommend this for blankets, didn't leave any stains or anything like that so it works fine. Got this complimentary from Influenster to review in my #PumpkinVoxBox

I received Downy for free for review for my honest opinion. I usually use fabric softener sheets, and was not surprised that I would like the liquid version better. My clothes are soft, and static free. The smell is very fresh and clean also. Needless to say, I will no longer be buying the off brand softener sheets, but Downy instead.

The first time I used it, I was a bit overwhelmed by the scent, but then I started getting compliments at work. People would pass me by and ask what type of cologne I was wearing and I would tell this it's my "Downy Fabric Softner" I would then ask if any of them if they have tried Downy and a lot of them had and lot of them used other brands.When I take my clothes out of the dryer and once I fold or hang them up I don't have to iron them after using this product. my t-shirts and undergarments feel so soft against my skin and not rough and scratchy. I love this product and would definitely recommend it friends and family members.

This new formula smells horrible... It's so strong and has a very unpleasant odor. I don't understand why the scent must be changed. I really miss the comforting scent from 20 yrs ago. I will not be buying Downy any more and I have been a loyal user for many years. Please bring back the original scent!!!!

This product smells soooo good! My laundry smells super fresh! It seems to work well. I'm not normally a fabric softener user but to get the fresh scent in my clothes I'm convinced this is something I'll be purchasing for a long time!!
