[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ultra Downy April Fresh leaves your laundry feeling soft and smelling fresh and clean. The smell is very pleasant and not overpowering. Like some fabric softeners. The colored clothes don’t seem to fade as much and leaves the white clothes brighter. It has a fabric protect feature that protects your clothes, so they will last longer. My washing machine is a top loader, so there have been no stains or residue left on my clothes from the Ultra Downey use. The bottle shape makes it very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used a liquid fabric softener before so I really didn’t know what to expect but I honestly wasn’t expecting much. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! For starters, my clothes smelled so fresh and the fragrance was not overwhelming. My clothes actually felt softer as well, especially the towels. I also noticed that it did prevent static as well. I did not notice any difference in wrinkle reduction, pilling and fuzz, or color protection. I honestly wasn’t checking for those issues and it may just be too soon to tell. The only issue I had was that, with my washer, I had to use the Downy ball. The ball did not always drain properly but that was not an issue with the fabric softener itself.

I am so disappointed that you changed the original scent. It has always been such a great and reliable product and I always was complemented on the smell of my house after washing clothes as well as my clothes. Now I hate the smell! There is nothing original about it!!

I have been using Downy for quite awhile now, I have veered off and tried other brands but always seem to come back to Downy. I find this product to be affordable especially with coupons and does exactly what you want a fabric softener to do! Just having fresh towels straight out of the dryer with the April Fresh scent is just heaven in my opinion. I tested Downy® Fabric Softener for free, but all opinions are your own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy fabric softener has made my life so much more pleasant, and smelly (in a good way...) This product has met my expectations and more. Thank you for allowing me to try Downy out. I will make sure to spread the word about this amazing product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mother used Downy in her wash years when I was a kid, and I always loved the scent. I stopped using Downy liquid in my college years when I had to take my clothes to the laundromat. Using Downy Liquid with fabric Enhancer has been an eye opener. My clothes are much softer and I notice there is much less static, which is important to me and the scent just can't be beat. Since I like to buy clothes with the intent of wearing them a long time, I am excited to use something that protects fabrics from pilling, fading and stretching. It is nice to be able to give my family such comforting towels and sheets. Everything comes out of the dryer soft and pleasantly scented. Also, it is nice to be able to use Downy in the wash instead of dryer sheets so my items I hang dry are soft too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was suggested that I try Downy Liquid fabric softener, particularly the April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer. I found that my dryer sheets scent wasn't lasting and I kept having to use more and more which gets costly. I was skeptical of liquid softener but figured I would give it a shot, it had good reviews. I love the scent. I love how LONG the scent lasts. I'm talking weeks later, hung clothing still smells so fresh! And my clothing has much less static and fewer wrinkles, but let me tell you - I would probably use this product even without those features, just because the smell is so fresh and lasts so long. Very pleased and I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy fabric softener is the best at softening clothes and towels. The fragrance is so fresh and clean smelling, I love it. Very easy to use just add to the washer softener cup and turn on. Simply perfect I guess that's why it's been around to long.

My husband got 5-6 superman/superheroes towel for home usage and all were folded like paper napkin. When I tried opening each towel OMG it was so crumpled and hard and I was so upset and almost screamed at my husband for having such insane love for superheroes that he even got kitchen towels of their print and now I have to handle this. After this my husband suggested me to try Downy for softening and you will not believe this product creates miracle.I took picture and wanted to write reviews so that others should also try and use this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this product is! I stopped using dryer sheets and switched to dryer balls a few months ago because I hated that weird film the clothes seemed to get. The Downey liquid didn’t leave that film at all and the smell isn’t too strong. I don’t have a specific place in my washer for softener, so I just had to add it in the bottom with the soap so I may not be getting the full benefits. Once my bottle is empty, I will purchase another one.
