[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried different fabric softeners to get the best. This is the Downy review: It works awesome, your clothes are soft and smell great. The down side is the price. I feel the price is too high. If the price was lower, I would use Downy all the time and could recommend it to all of my friends, family and neighbors.

Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener is by far my favorite. The smell itself is enough but it also leaves your clothes feeling fresh and soft.I recommend this to all my friends and family. I tested Downy Fabric Softener free but all opinions are my own.

I have worn clothes washed with Downy my entire life. However, my recent purchase of the newly formulated April Fresh with Silk Touch has caused me to have to find another product. I break out in a terrible red rash that burns and itches from wearing clothes washed with this product. Also, the new smell is entirely overwhelming.

I have always been a believer in dryer sheets, it's what my mom used when I was growing up and it's what I've used for over 20 years. A few times over the years I've thought about trying liquid but I always worried it would be messy or that I'd forget to put it in the wash. I was really happy to receive this sample to try and started using it the next time I did laundry. What I noticed right away was the smell and how wonderful it was, not too heavy but very pleasant. I was also surprised to discover that it wasn't messy at all, the liquid softener is nice and thick so it pours without making a mess! And I really didn't need to worry about forgetting the softener, I just stored it right next to my detergent and found it easy and quick to add in before starting the wash. I've now used it in four loads of laundry and I love how fresh our clothes smell and I definitely notice the difference in the lack of static vs when I use a dryer sheet. We live in the high desert so it's very dry here and sometimes I need to add in 2 dryer sheets on large loads of laundry to remove all the static but this wasn't a problem for the Downy liquid. Overall I was very impressed and will be switching, after all these years, to Downy Liquid Softener!! I received a free sample bottle of Downy's April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener from Influenster, this in no way influenced my opinion of the product.

Absolutely love this detergent, Used this to wash a load of my daughter laundry and the end result of it all was amazing. Once I took her clothes out of the dryer the clothing felt very soft, clothes were very clean and the scent of it was refreshing and scent lasted for about a week on her clothes. So happy that I got a chance to test Downy Fabric Softener for Free

My clothes have never smelled so clean. I have found my new favorite fabric softener!!!

I love the smell, it's just right not too much and my clothes are soft and very comfortable. This fabric softener is okay but not one of my favorites. It leaves build-up in the machines after a while. I do not have this problem with the other brands I use. The scent also doesn't last very long. Overall, it's okay but after trying it many times over the past 20 years I've decided not to repurchase this brand.

I have not traditionally used fabric softener in my laundry. When I received my free sample I started using it with my sheets and towels and wow, we all LOVE it. I never thought fabric softener would make such a difference! ! My girls both have sensitive skin and we have had no issues with adding Downy to our laundry.
