It works great to soften clothes and keeps them in great condition and the colors bright. The smell is lasting which I love! Definitely been around forever for a reason. I would definitely recommend Downy fabric softener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer makes my clothes smell great, but as an added bonus it doesn't make them feel filmy or weighed down. Most of the fabric softeners I have used make me feel as though my clothes have a film and therefore I havent generally used them frequently. This one is different! Excellent long lasting scent, yet clothes still feel "fresh".

I never really used fabric softener before until I received my sample in my Vox Box. And now I am so glad I tried it. I didn't realize how soft my clothes were not! I use it in every load now. Not only does it make my clothes smell good but they feel so soft and comfortable!

I received a sample of this product for free from Influenster, in exchange for my honest review. I had a huge tub of clothes that I let sit for a couple of years. The clothes had been packed since we lived in an apartment whose previous tenant smoked like a chimney, so they were packed away already smelling bad and came out smelling worse. For the last year, I've washed items but they never stayed smelling good. The stale smoke smell always came back. One wash with our low-scent homemade detergent and this Downy product, and my favorite Christmas shirts smell totally normal again, and have stayed that way for a few weeks! I'm so thrilled!

The Ultra Downy April Fresh fabric softner smells amazing not only when you first open it but when you put it in your laundry. I was very surpised to find that even days after cloths have been washed and and dried and put away they still have the April Fresh smell to them. I like that you do not have to use a large amount to get that fresh smell days later.
