This fabric softener is okay but not one of my favorites. It leaves build-up in the machines after a while. I do not have this problem with the other brands I use. The scent also doesn't last very long. Overall, it's okay but after trying it many times over the past 20 years I've decided not to repurchase this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Downy fabric softener in 10 washer loads. My clothes came out of the dryer with fewer wrinkles and they felt softer than I expected. Clothes that I did not put in the dryer were a little less wrinkled than they normally would be, but they felt much softer than without the Downy. I am not a fan of many fragrances and I did not care for the April Fresh smell. I found a non-scented Downy that is every bit as wonderful so I'm set for all the extra washing that just comes with summer. It is important to read the directions and not use this product on the items listed on the bottle, such as microfiber cleaning cloths.

They are soft and no static. This bottle lasts you long time. Fragrance is mild not overpowering. Always recommend downy to everyone.

Most of my clothes never go into the dryer, so using a liquid fabric softener has really changed the feel of my clothes. They feel noticeablely more comfortable and smell fresh to boot. I received a free sample from influenster and it has made me a fan.

For weeks it became included in each rehearsed list of wishes for gifts! I love the way April Fresh smells! It makes our clothes soft and the smell lasts for a long time! I use it on my sheets so that I have a fresh smelling every night!

It's not my 1st rodeo w/Downy! I've use it since I was around 13,my mom uses it,my sisters use it,and I use it. I hope in the future my own daughter uses this as well! April Fresh liquid Downy is the best product without an overwhelming perfume smell. Leaves clothes smelling fresh and feeling soft. Tried another scent but the strong smell was overwhelming and had to re-wash everything to avoid the headache and cough.

I tested the Downy on the towels first. They smelled Downy fresh, and were soft. I am happy to report that I did not have a reaction. So I moved on to dark clothes, shirts and pants, and still good. So the firest good thing, no reaction. Second, was that everything smelled spring fresh. The other nice thing is that the clothes felt a little softer. I look forward to putting on fresh sheets on the bed, and using fresh towels. Downy gets a big thumbs up from me.
