We have some sensitive noses in our house who object strongly to intense scents on clothes. I love that I can choose how much I want to add to a load and it does enough to control odors and give it a mild fresh scent. It does a good job at covering up sweat odors and the fresh scent lasts a good while. Clothes coming out of the drawers weeks later still smell nice

I have always loved Downy fabric softener since I was a young girl, and it's still to this day, it's my favorite! I really enjoy how my laundry smells great and feels soft after using Downy! Even though Downy still delivers as far as softness, etc., the new smell is horrible! I started to notice it late last year and thought it was my color safe bleach. My husband developed an allergy to whatever it is they've added. The smell is overpowering and I still find clothes and sheets that have that nasty smell. I'm seeing newer reviews about how wonderful the new scent is, and quite honestly, I don't believe them. It smells like a toilet mint. Seriously. A toilet mint - and it never, ever fades away until you rewash it. It also leaves kind of a lanolin type feeling on your skin and hands - and not in a pleasant way. Bottom line - excellent product before they "improved" it. Please - go back to the old way. Who decided this was a good idea - lol? Sheesh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ultra Downy April Fresh leaves your laundry feeling soft and smelling fresh and clean. The smell is very pleasant and not overpowering. Like some fabric softeners. The colored clothes don’t seem to fade as much and leaves the white clothes brighter. It has a fabric protect feature that protects your clothes, so they will last longer. My washing machine is a top loader, so there have been no stains or residue left on my clothes from the Ultra Downey use. The bottle shape makes it very easy to use.

After taking my sheets and comforters out of their vacuum sealed bags I noticed that they still smelled a little funky. I washed them and use the Downy April scented fabric softener and now they smell absolutely amazing. In fact, my whole entire room smells like fresh laundry I could not be happier.

Downy is the BEST Fabric Softner Hands down. I have tried other several "name brand" products but they just don't compare. My favorite use is on my towels.. Other brands made the "crispy" but downy Always Fluffs them Right up. The smell is fantastic and Not overbearing. I highly reccomend this product. Even for Large Loads I only have to fill the cap to the 1 Line and they are Super Soft.

Absolutely love ultra Downy April fresh fabric softener.. I used it in all my clothes when washing and my clothes still a week later smell so good and so soft. I also put ultra Downy April fresh fabric softener in a spray bottle and add just a little bit of water and spray around my house for air freshener and it makes my whole house smell so good.. Also it isn't expensive either,I save money on air freshener as well.I received ultra downy April fresh fabric softener free from influenster to test and all opinions are my own.. If you haven't tried as air freshener try it. I spray on my couches,bed covers,clean towels,kids pillows,stuff animals,curtains and use it in my laundry.

I love Downy fabric softener. I use the liquid in my washer and then use the dryer sheets to get my laundry extra soft. It leaves my laundry soft and smelling so very nice. The scent lasts a long time. The smell of Downy brings back so many memories of my childhood.
