I absolutely love the smell of downy and the softness is something that cannot be replicated by other brands. The April Fresh scent reminds me of a field of flowers during the Spring time which is a much welcome scent during the cold winter months. Bonus points for it fighting off static! I use it both as a fabric softener and to make my own fabric refresher (like Febreeze)I received this as a sample from Influenster but my opinions are my own.

I slept like a baby after washing my bedsheets with Downy Ultra Soft. I will definitely make this a regular item on my shopping list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's hard to tell the difference between fabric softeners, but my laundry (and the scent) was indeed fresh and clean. My dog sheds a lot, and I think the softener helped loosen up all of the fur. It does everything it claims to do - reduces wrinkles and prevents static. I would for sure use it again!

I have loved Downy softener for years. I even remember as a child I loved when my Mom would wash our clothes using Downy softener. It always made the clothes soft and smelled so fresh. The smell is like a fresh clean breeze as if your clothes were hung on the line to dry. I will continue using it. I recently got a sample to review for my unbiased review and i can say it still smells good as I have always remembered

I have not traditionally used fabric softener in my laundry. When I received my free sample I started using it with my sheets and towels and wow, we all LOVE it. I never thought fabric softener would make such a difference! ! My girls both have sensitive skin and we have had no issues with adding Downy to our laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the bottle of Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer, I was a bit concerned with the scent. I found it overpowering and generally not the type of scent that I am usually drawn to for laundry products (I love the Botanical Mist scented Downy products). However, I found after using the product in the wash, the scent isn't overpowering on freshly washed clothing. I think the product does help with softening fabric. I have generally tried to reduce household products with heavy scent, dyes, and other chemicals, but still find myself reaching for Downy with items such as sheets, towels, and jeans, because they feel crunchy and uncomfortable when I don't use it. My sheets and towels also feel much fresher when I pull them out of the closet a week after a wash compared to when I don't use Downy. Jeans and other clothing items are noticeably less wrinkly when I use Downy. I do not care for the fact that all of the ingredients used in the product aren't disclosed. Some simply say dye, perfumes, etc. This gives me great concern, because if Procter & Gamble feels the need to keep them off of the label, I automatically think that there must be a reason for it. With my children's skin being exposed to the fabric in their clothes and sheets pretty much all of the time, I'm unwilling to use this product on their items. All in all I think this is a decent product, but I am giving a rating of 2/5 because I do not care for the scent and because of concern over the ingredients used.

I having been using Downy April Fresh for a few days now and have had excellent results. Firstly, the smell is fabulous, its not too strong but not too faint. You will notice a light, beautiful scent on your clothing while using Downy April Fresh. I have also noticed less static cling and less wrinkling, if you're looking for a fabric softener I highly recommend Downy! I received Downy April Fresh to try for free.

First of all, I used it on a Friday, and forgot to switch my clothes around before a camping trip. Came home on Sunday, thought I’d have to re wash them from sitting in the washer all weekend. Expecting to smell mildew, my clothes still smelled fresh! For a busy mom like me, that’s definitely a win in my book! Secondly, when they were finally dry, they were so soft, and better then I could ever imagine. I couldn’t ever say enough good about Downey fabric softener. I’m a believer and I’m making the switch!

In my new job it is hard, working 12 hour days with mandatory overtime. It is very important to me to smell fresh around my co-workers. I was all excited when I got my Downy. This product worked well in my front end load washing machine. As I worked and my body heat turned up, a fresh scent still came from my clothes. They were soft and comfortable throughout the day. And were just as fresh as when I pulled them from the dryer! I recommend April Fresh Downy! Also my husband is allergic to other brands and this one is gentle enough that he doesn't break out! Awesome product!

Downy April Fresh makes our clothes so soft to the touch and the sweet scent of springtime that we enjoy all year round. This is my softener of choice. It's so nice to curl up on a cold winter night with that fresh spring scent keeping you warm. Yes I would recommend it to my friends and family
