I was so thrilled to find that my recently laundered sheets were the softest I could have imagined and the smell was heavenly. Not only does Downey hold a humorous place in our family’s hearts but it also holds our clothes together. Healthier clothes, healthier family right? When my youngest was a bit younger we were all sitting in the living room watching television together. As we were nearing a birthday every commercial for some great new toy that came on the air also brought an excited “I want THAT for my birthday” even if there was little understanding of what the item was, after weeks of lead up to the birthday a commercial for Downey Fabric Softener came on the air and I ‘might’ have encouraged the excited child to request Downey Fabric Softener for their birthday. For weeks it became included in each rehearsed list of wishes for gifts! I love the way April Fresh smells! It makes our clothes soft and the smell lasts for a long time! I use it on my sheets so that I have a fresh smelling every night!

I love it. I noticed the sweaty stinky smells in the clothes vanished and they usually leave them in the dryer which causes them to wrinkle but this time they didnt so Idk if it actually reduces wrinkles

It gets the job done on anything I put it with. And with someone who has many allergies, I have no reaction to it. The First thing i smelled when opening my box was this fresh smell of amazment !!, This stuff smell so good That I put it in my closet to have an aroma when I open my closet doors lol. I used it for the second time on my clothes and love it.. I am testing Downy® Fabric Softener for free, but all opinions are my own.

I've been a faithful Downy user for more then 35 years and have always loved this product. Yesterday I opened a new bottle and was overwhelmed with the floral scent. I thought I had incorrectly purchased a scent other then original April Fresh Downy, but no I hadn't. Why has the scent changed? It still performs great on static, softness, and wrinkles, but the scent is so overbearing I'm unable to wear clothes that have been rinsed in it. Please bring back the tried and true original April Fresh scent we all have loved for years... From the reviews its very apparent I'm not the only one that feels this way. Let's hope P & G hears our pleas and brings back the scent we've all known and loved for decades. I'll keep checking reviews in the hope that the original scent returns, but until it does I won't be purchasing Downy again. So disappointed to say goodbye to a favorite product I've loved for years.
