This product, the Downy fabric softener, truly works great. I can even use it on my infant baby girls clothing and bedding with no skin irritation for her. It works very well also for all my clothing, house hold fabrics, begging, etc... It smells very good to top it all off as well!! All in all, great product!

I used to be a faithful Downy user. No more. First of all, if you shake it as the directions say, it pours out all over the place, not just from the spout. But the absolutely worst thing about it is that for some reason, it now leaves big blue spots all over my sheets and clothes. Sure they go away when I wash them again, but who wants that? I have tried many other fabric softeners and Downy is the only one that has ever left spots on my clothes. I've been using the "cheap" April fresh Downy since all the other products are ridiculously expensive in my opinion. I live alone so am only doing the wash for one person, but even so, I can find a lot better uses for the money I would spend on all the other Downy products.

I love Downy!! I got to try it from Influenster and it is awesome I love the smell and how soft it makes my clothes in my bed blanket it's the best to just freshly get your sheets and blanket wash crawl into bed and have the downy smell engulfing you wouldn't use anything else

I used it exactly as directed and when I went to remove my clothes from my washer, the softner had not dissolved in the water and was stuck to some of my clothes. The way in which it was stuck cannot be described as anything else other than snot-looking. I did an extra rinse and spin thinking that would help...NOPE! I had to rewash the clothes TWO MORE TIMES! I've always loved the P&G product line and have never had an issue with their products. However, I will NOT be buying Downy fabric softner. Thankfully I didn't pay for this sample or I would be even more irate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I think of liquid fabric softener, I always think of that iconic blue bottle of Downy. It's exactly what you'd expect a top-of-the-line fabric softener to be - a product that gets my clothes conditioned while making everything smell amazing (including my house!). To be specific, I used the 34-ounce size of Ultra Downy April Fresh. I like that it's concentrated and that I didn't have to pour a lot to get its full benefits. As a disclaimer, I know that some people might be sensitive to fragrance, and I wouldn't recommend this product to them. Other than that, this product is a great addition for anyone who uses liquid fabric softener, and I'd tell them to buy it without hesitation. When I'm reviewing products, I always like to include the backs of the bottles, just so people can see the usage directions and get the feeling you'd get if you were to walk into the store and pick up the bottle to examine it (because the front label IS pretty, but it's not very informative to a discerning consumer, like me).

I love the long lasting smell and feel of my clothing when I use Downy Fabric Softner. It is easy to use and with the cup and no drip push dispenser there is not muss or fuss. I love blanket throws and have them all over my house. Downy leaves them so soft and smelling like they just came out of the dryer. I usually have to fight my cats over newly washed ones as they love the feel of them too.

The product is thick and clumpy. I diluted it with water when I used it but it was hard to mix. When I put the cap back on the bottle it oozed out of the bottle, making a mess. I do not care for the fragrance. Based on other reviews I have read this is a common occurrence. I am throwing the rest of the bottle away and trying a different product...no more Downy for me!

Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer does not ruin my clothes or leave a residue! My clothes are now smelling fresh days after they're washed - thanks Downy!

This fabric softener is terrific! My husband complains his uniforms are too stiff so I used Downy to attempt too "soften" them and after my first use it made a difference, after a few there was a noticable differance. Also my husband works in law enforcement and doesn't want to smell life "flowers" and this scent was perfect, it leaves a slight scent but not overpowering. I also have twins with sensitive skin so I have to be careful what I use and thankfully not only did it pass the hubby test but the twins also. I will definitely continue to use. I received this product for free for review purpose . This is my opinion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My clothes smell incredible. Downy made them extra soft. The clothes and towels seem extra fresh. I can’t stop smelling my towels. I used never used fabric softener. The static was elimated. No wrinkling. I can not believe the difference. Reminds me of walking in my grandmother’s flower garden. I will used this product from now on. You can’t go wrong using Downy Fabric Softner! It protects your clothes also! No fading! Safe for even my silk tops. Love sleeping on my sheets after using Downy!
