It leaves a fresh scent leaves clothes clean not wrinkles at all u can use other scents easy to pour in ur washer machine i dont need to improve anything its very affordable not expensive at all u can buy it anywhere yes i recommend it to others very useful

I've tried other Downy scents and varieties but I always come back to April fresh. Lifetime customer here!

I mostly use it on the clothing items I prefer to hang dry ,in the desert clothing you hang dry usually becomes stiff and scratchy , and Downy prevents that with an amazing smell.

I really like how my clothes smell after using Downy. They smell nice and fresh. Also, I am impressed that the static from drying my clothes in the dryer has decreased. This is always important in winter for me. I received a free sample of Downy for review but my opinions are my own.

I used to use drier sheets, but they made my dryer dirty and grimy. No problem with that here, since it goes in the washer! My clothes are super soft, and I noticed that I have less static cling. I always found that my daughters clothes had horrible cling before. I am so happy with this product.

I love the way my clothes felt after I pulled them out of dryer and when I go to put them on a week later they still smell good and is still so soft. I love cuddling in my blankets after I wash and dry them. I hardly ever wear perfume and I'll get compliments on how I smell good and asked what I'm wearing. I say Downy April Fresh and laugh.

I have been using Downy for many years. My mom used it when I was growing up. When I went to college and did my own laundry I couldnt get my clothes to smell like home. I asked my mom why and she said am I using downy? Well I have been every since. I love the way it smells

I have used Downy all of my life, the type that came to be known as April Fresh, which was a product that my Mother used since well before I was born! I used to get compliments from people all the time about how good my clothes always smelled, and I was always happy to pass along that it was all due to Downy. It always worked wonders at softening my clothes. I don't understand why such a fantastic product was ever changed. The smell is nothing like it used to be, and it does not last nearly as long. It doesn't soften nearly as well either, and I find the buildup in my fabric softener dispenser to be very annoying. The other new scents are too overpowering to consider using. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring the old formulation back! A lifelong Downy user is being forced to switch to another brand - something I would never have considered doing before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long long ago, I had a Downy ball and I'd use fabric softner. I think what changed for me, is that I went to college. And when you're broke? You spend your money on the detergent and dryer sheets. You don't think about buying the softner or any of the middle step stuff. Even if it was as simple as dropping the ball into the washer. So many years later in my professional life, it still wasn't a thought of mine. Sure, I wasn't a college kid anymore. Sure, I had the money for it. But if I wasn't using it for the longest time, why should I go back? My clothes feel fine, they smell decent after washing them? Its just unnecessary... ...I WAS WRONG! I love to shop at Goodwill and other thrift stores. And sometimes, there are things that just as much as you clean them, they just don't feel or smell right. Enter in the cutest elephant that you'd ever seen. He was well loved, and his blue stuffed corduroy body was well loved and appreciated. He still was fluffy, but there was something about him that wasn't quite right. Something didn't smell fresh after three trips through the laundry. And if I'm going to treasure this guy as much as the person before me? I want to make sure that I'm not smelling their funk. So I waved goodbye to my blue friend and set him gently in the washer holding onto a Downy ball filled with the April Fresh product. 30 minutes and a dryer cycle later? My little buddy was fresher than fresh! I used it later that week with my gym clothes. I'm used to my gym clothes being funky because I'll live out of a suitcase with some Febreeze as my only cure. Now? I want to see if I can convince the TSA that a Downy Ball filled with softner is an acceptable 2 oz carry on. Thank you Downy! You've made my blue friend brighter smelling and kept my wife happy with my gym clothes!
