The Ultra Downy April Fresh fabric softner smells amazing not only when you first open it but when you put it in your laundry. I was very surpised to find that even days after cloths have been washed and and dried and put away they still have the April Fresh smell to them. I like that you do not have to use a large amount to get that fresh smell days later.

April Fresh liquid Downy is the best product without an overwhelming perfume smell. Leaves clothes smelling fresh and feeling soft. Tried another scent but the strong smell was overwhelming and had to re-wash everything to avoid the headache and cough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly have not been consistent with use of fabric softener so I was interested in what my impression would be of Downy April Fresh Laundry Enhancer. I have four kids so laundry is a constant in our home. I tried many thing to test Downy April Fresh Laundry Enhancer. I washed all my old towels that commonly smell musty after the first use. It did make a difference with them. They no longer smell bad after their first use and they are soft again. I did try to hang towels on the line but they still came in stiff so I rewashed them. The smell is fresh and clean but not overpowering. I am interested in how it helps to maintain colors after many washes. Overall, it did not knock my socks off but I was not disappointed either.

I just didn't think it was a "necessity." However, I noticed our clothes looking duller and wearing out more quickly. Growing up my mom always used Downy so when I decided to start implementing softener back into our laundry routine it was my obvious go to. I am not crazy about the April Fresh scent but our clothes were noticeably softer and fresher and hold their quality longer. I won't be trying to skimp on fabric softener any longer and our clothes are thanking me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this several times on colored, dark and whites and I feel the best it worked on was whites for brightening the color. I was excited to try this and brighten up some of my dull colored items but didn’t do much brightening. It did however made everything nice and soft and smell fantastic even after wearing something all day. I haven’t noticed anything wrinkle and no static on anything I have. When I used it on my white clothing wow did my stuff come out bright white. I have a lot of white T-shirt’s and socks and although I use bleach over time sometimes they have a little yellow shade to them but not with this, I used this with bleach and my regular detergent and wow my shirts were bright white, soft and smelled so nice and no wrinkles even after sitting in dryer a while after it stopped. Overall I like the product and will continue to use it for sure on everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was suggested that I try Downy Liquid fabric softener, particularly the April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer. I found that my dryer sheets scent wasn't lasting and I kept having to use more and more which gets costly. I was skeptical of liquid softener but figured I would give it a shot, it had good reviews. I love the scent. I love how LONG the scent lasts. I'm talking weeks later, hung clothing still smells so fresh! And my clothing has much less static and fewer wrinkles, but let me tell you - I would probably use this product even without those features, just because the smell is so fresh and lasts so long. Very pleased and I highly recommend.

I have used Downy April Fresh fabric softener for years but since they added the Fabric Protect it smells too strong and powdery! I can't use it - please change it back. I've tried the freshness beads but they don't soften the clothes. For me and others to take the time to write a review on a fabric softener must tell you there is something wrong with the new product. Please change it back!!

I REALLY MISS THE ORIGINAL APRIL FRESH SCENT DOWNY I GREW UP USING I'M 50 YRS OLD. THE NEW DOWNY IS A LITTLE TO PERFUME AND IT JUST TOO LOUD OF AND ODOR,WHERE AS THOUGH THE ORIGINAL WAS PLEASENT TO SMELL . PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL DOWNY EVEN FOR A LITTLE WHILE.
